- Good morning, children. I’m glad to see you. Today I’m your English teacher.
- Before starting our lesson pay attention to your estimating list. You should be very active during the lesson
as at the end of the lesson you will estimate yourselves.

- Now, let’s watch a video and guess the theme of our lesson.
- It is one of the most popular and important kind of Mass Media. It greatly changed our lives. It helps us to
solve different tasks. It can be a type of entertainment, communication, keeps us in touch with each other. It
can be mobile, cable, satellite, wireless. It unites the whole world.(The Internet) (слайд 3)

(“Cluster”is a group of close similar united objects)

- Let’s write down all your associations with the word Internet (information, project, e-mail, addiction etc)

- Now you will work in 2 groups. You are to make a list of advantages and disadvantages of the Internet. For
doing it I’ll give to each group one sheet of paper and colorful markers. The 1st group will write down all
possible advantages of the Internet. The 2nd group will write down all possible disadvantages of the Internet.
And then one person from each group will present what you have done.
VII. Рефлексия (слайд 18)-Let’s make up cinquain.Cinquainis a kind of poem, which consists of 5
lines that don’t rhyme. What are 5 lines?
1st line is 1 noun (topic)
2nd line is 2 adjectives, describing a topic
3rd line is 3 verbsonour topic
4th line is a sentence, consisting of 4 words (different parts of speech)
5th line is a synonym of our topic

- At the beginning of the lesson I gave you an estimating list with different kinds of work. You are to put + or
– alongside of it for self-checking if you managed to do all given tasks. After your filling in I’ll give them to
your English teacher.
