>Activities of visiting

I visited the Immunization Department at the Maternal and Child Hospital in amran City

to evaluate the department in terms of the services it provides and the vaccines available in the department

.I met with the department supervisor and took the necessary information about the department,

including statistics for the months of November and December. The statistics were as follows:

>The cumulative percentage of children who were vaccinated in November was 60%..

>The cumulative percentage of children who were vaccinated in December was 90%.

By comparing the statistics of these two months

, I found that the number of children who were vaccinated in November was low

compared to the percentage of children who were vaccinated in December,

which was high. The reason for this is the lack of awareness of mothers and

the rumors that appeared last month about vaccination

. This is the most important reason for the low percentage of children in November.

FinalLy I explained to the mothers in the department the importance of vaccination for their children.

>Positives:

1-All essential vaccines are available for newborns, infants, and young children.

2-Staff are trained to administer vaccines safely and effectively

>Negatives

1-Long waiting lists exist for vaccines, especially during peak times.

2-Lack of awareness among mothers about the importance of vaccination.

3-Spread rumors about the harms of vaccination.

4-Small space.& Poor ventilation

>Recommendations
1-Increase awareness campaigns about the importance of vaccination and the risks of vaccinating.

2-Combat rumors about the harms of vaccination.

3-Increase the number of staff in the Immunization Department to reduce waiting lists.

4-Expansion of department spac&Providing better ventilation for the place.
