Re: Engineering Summer Student May - August 2022

Dear Selection Committee,

NGE Engineering provides their clients with integrated services and effective solutions, working in a spirit of
partnership and consistently striving for excellence. Currently, I am finishing up my second year of Civil
Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan where I continue to enhance my creative yet technical skills and
problems solving techniques. I see myself as an engineer that will take time to do things properly the first time,
which is essential for data analysis and reporting jobs.

I have recently worked for 8-months at a job as a Project Coordinator for a local General Contracting company in
Saskatoon. My role included reviewing shop drawings, coordinating sub trades, writing contracts and creating
project schedules. Throughout this experience, these tasks have taught me to pay very close attention to detail
and always double or triple check things over. These responsibilities have also kept me accountable to deadlines,
enhanced my communication skills, data analysis and document creation skills. I believe that all these skills
would be of value to NGE Engineering.

In my two years of engineering, I have experienced a lot of different laboratory setting. Every class has a
different lab with a different professor, but they all follow the same or similar methods. The laboratory has
always been the most interesting part of university for me because I enjoy being hands on and getting to take
control. Using a lab for trial and error can also be one of the best methods to problem solve, which NGE can use
to find effective solutions for thein clients.

Thank you for your time, I can be reached at contact information above.

Sincerely,

Abby Sauter
