    EXERCISE I

    TRANSLATE INTO INDONESIA

    Good morning all, allow me to introduce myself in. My name is Ruby Anindita. I was born in
    Padang on 30 November 2009. Now I live in Bandung. Right now I stayed at my uncle’s house. Now
    allow me to introduce myself further. I like things that smell of adventurous, and small things like
    reading, watching, and spent my free time by doing nothing. Okay now about me and my family, I
    am the second child in my family. I have a little sister, and she is kindergarten student. My father is a
    Teacher of English which is named Dodi Sudirman. While my mother is a housewife.I love my
    family more than anything. Well that’s my introduction this time. Pleased to meet you.

    EXERCISE II

    TRANSLATE INTO INDONESIA

    Gilang : Excuse me. I don’t think we have met, I’m Gilang.

    Nando : Hello. I’m Nando. I am your new neighbor.

    Gilang : Oh really?. You move to the house next to me, aren't you

    Nando : Yes it is. Please come to my house this afternoon. I baked some cookies.

    Gilang : Sure! Thanks. Nice to know you Nando.

    Nando : Nice to know you too Gilang.

    TRANSLATE INTO INDONESIA

    Lingga : Hey, Ratu. How are you now?

    Ratu : I’m feeling better, Lingga. Thanks for asking.

    Lingga : I called your place and your mom told me you got the flu.

    Ratu : Yeah, I did.

    Lingga : I told Ms. Diana about it and she said she’ll let you take the tests later on.

    Ratu : Thanks a lot Lingga.


    Lingga : Don’t mention it. And here is the list of topics which were covered last week.

    Ratu : Thank you so much. You’re a great friend.
