how the results will be used in planning further care or
treatments.

8. Choose a sensor appropriate for the client’s weight,
size, and desired location.
9. Prepare the site
a. Clean the site with alcohol wipes
b. Remove nail polish as necessary

10 Apply sensor and connects it to the pulse oximeter.

accurately aligned.

face of the oximeter fluctuates with each
