The USE OF TECHNOLOGY IN THE MEDICAL FIELD

Good day MA, and my fellow global leaders, we group 7 are here to talk about how the use of
Computer has impactedgreatly in medicine dating back to the olden day without the use of
technology being not able not to know what is wrong with you by the use of tests in the laboratory
which caused unprecedent problems now in a more developed era the use of technology makes
everything faster and easier which is a great advantage when dealing with human lives.

The first computer was used in medical field in the 1950. They were used for task like storing
patient records and analyzing lab data.Over the years, computer have become an increasily
important part of the medicine with records telemedicine and precision medicine.

Now I will be explaining how telemedicine and precision medicine has impacted on the medical
line. Telemedicine is the use of virtual conferencing and remote monitoring to provide medical care
to patients who are not physically present in the same location as their health care provider. This
can include like remote diagnosis and treatment, virtual follow-ups and even remote surgery, it can
be useful in rural areas as it allows them to access care without having to travel long distances, it can
also be used to improve the quality of care allowing for better collaboration between health care
providers.

Precision medicine is a medical approach that take into account individual differences in people
genes environment, lifestyle to guide treatment at the right time for the right person

Like the famous scientist Daniel Kraft said, “The true value of technology in healthcare lies in it’s
ability to make it easier for healthcare professionals to collaborate, diagnose, treat and monitor
patients.” Medical technology is revolutionizing healthcare, from improved patient outcomes to
streamlined processes. Future trends include remote healthcare, AI-assisted diagnosis and
treatment and robotic surgery among others. With careful implementation and management,
medical technology can help transform healthcare into a more accessible, equitable and efficient
system.
