ACTIVITY DESIGN
I. Rationale
Teaching young children to read helps them develop their language skills and
help them build a more solid foundation for communication. As an elementary teacher, it is our
main goal to teach learners the proper way of learning how to read and understand every single
word written in the reading materials provided.
Teachers are to assist and help the needs of each pupil through giving them
activities and instructions suited for their learning capabilities. With this, “Read more. Learn
more” is a way pupils can practice their reading skills, sharpen their minds in comprehension
and increases their vocabulary too. Reading is essential to the young learners because it helps
them expands their knowledge and smoothly lead them to future success.

IV. Project Cost
The financial requirements shall be taken from the MOOE and Personal fund. The amount
herein indicated is the estimated cost for the entire implementation. However, supplemental
budget can still be proposed based on the emerging needs may occur during implementation.
V. Sustainability Plan
After the culmination in the implementation of this program, remediation using Read with
Me will be utilized and served as a practice or habit to heighten the Dep Ed Program , Every
Child A Reader.

Innovation, Intervention and Strategy
As an output of this study, the researcher shall conduct remedial reading / guided
reading instruction to the children who needs constant practice. Different self-learning reading materials are
distributed to the learners. The school will present a graphical representation that shows the improvement of the
reading skills of all the pupils, remediated or not.
