About This Manual
There are several sections that re-appear throughout this manual. Most of the
sections within this manual include sub-sections called “Quality Points,” “Tools
Required,” and “Procedures.” Below is a brief description of each sub-section.

Quality Points
Quality Points are the aspects of the section that are most important. These are
the things you must ensure are completed when the procedures are accomplished.

Tools Required
This table lists all of the tools you will need to accomplish the section’s
procedures. There is a column with the name of the tool required, followed by a
resource that is either an OSC part number, or an instruction as to where to
procure the particular tool. The last column includes check boxes that should be
marked when you obtain the tool. Once the list is completely checked off, you’re
ready to begin the procedures.

Procedures
The Procedures sub-section includes the step-by-step instructions that must be
performed to successfully complete the installation. There is a check box and line
after each procedure. The check box should be checked and the mechanic’s or
helper’s initials should be entered on the line when the procedure is complete.
This step is very important since sometimes one person does one procedure and
another person does the next procedure. The check boxes and initial lines ensure
that each step is complete before the next step is begun.
