Metamorphosis.

This is a book science-fiction written by Franz Kafka in 1915… Metamorphosis is about a man
called Gregorio who worked in warehouse for pay the dudes of his parents that have with the
Gregorio’s boss. His job was tripped for foreign trade and with his profit help his family.

A day Gregorio woke up after had a restless dream he looks his body with a strange aspect… he
didn’t believe what happened, he has an insect body, a lot of skinny foot and hard shell. He
took the decision to stay in his bedroom for his new aspect like a cockroach, his parents and
his sister Gretel was worrying for him because he didn’t go to take breakfast with them and he
didn’t go to his work so they went to his bedroom, but he didn’t leave it… He didn’t know the
way to use his new body, it was complicated and painful for him and he prefer stay in his
bedroom because didn’t want scarry his parents and didn’t want to cry Gretel. After several
minutes his boss goes to his house for ask why he didn’t go to the train station, behind a long
prattle he decides to leave of his bedroom opening the door with his mouth for the fear of to
be dismiss; his mouth was hurt for did it. All was scarred to saw him, the boss leave without
says any one word, and he try to stopped while he was wretched, but his father obstructs him,
kick and hit whit a pole him for he returns to his room. Therefore, he has several injuries in his
body and lose a lot of blood for it.

At night Gregorio get up after lose consciousness the rest of the day… Gretel had left a glass of
sweet milk with little piece of bread, Gregorio tried to eat by putting his face on glass, but he
couldn’t eat well so he felt bad and it was difficult for him, especially being injured.

In the course of the story, past 2 months and Gregorio had already accustomed to his new
body and develop a new habit for distraction him, he started to walk on top of walls and roof…
permanence a lot of time upon the roof, it’s was funny distraction.

We can also read how his sister and his mother try to remove the old cabinet and sofas, but
they can’t do it, the cabinet was heavy and his mother didn’t want to leave empty his
bedroom. She wants to conservate the room in the same way if Gregorio became in a person
again. Otherwise, his sister think that is better to take out all the things of his bedroom to
exception of the couch and she tried remove a frame (of a women tableware of overcoat), but
Gregorio obstructs her.

They are told us that Gretel stops having affection for her brother and became her feels for
disgust for him. She didn’t leave his eat and didn’t help to clean his bedroom. His father also
felt more scorn than before for him and his mother always feels scarred, but still, she loves
him.

Gregorio slowly strips his humanity, his room became dark and full of things of 3 new guests,
all his room was dirtier than before… Promptly, the guests were move of the house before the
dead of Gregorio, in this same day, the Samsa’s took the decision of take a rest.

All these events were the last of March. Before time, the Samsa’s family think in removal to
other affordable and small house and the parents of Gretel thought that she should get
married.
