BÀI CHỮA LỖI

Khi làm bài tìm lỗi sai, các em chú ý các kiểu lỗi sai thường gặp là: lỗi sai từ
vựng và sai ngữ pháp.
I. Lỗi sai từ vựng
1. Phát hiện từ loại sai
Trước hết, các em cần đọc kỹ cả câu, phân tích câu cẩn thận để phát hiện các từ
được gạch chân có đúng từ loại (danh từ, động từ, tính từ, trạng từ, giới từ, quán từ,
đại từ nhân xưng, tính từ sở hữu) cần dùng không và các từ đó đã được dùng chính
xác chưa.
Ghi nhớ:
• Danh từ thường đứng đầu câu đóng vai trò là chủ ngữ, hoặc đứng sau động từ
làm tân ngữ cho động từ đó.
• Tính từ dùng để bổ sung ý nghĩa cho danh từ và thường đứng trước danh từ.
• Động từ làm vị ngữ, thường được bổ nghĩa bởi trạng từ (có thể đứng sau hoặc
trước động từ).
• Ngoài ra, trạng từ có thể bổ nghĩa cho tính từ (đứng trước tính từ).
Ví dụ:
- The teacher has difficulty in writing rules that tell exactly when we should apology
because

Trong ví dụ trên, D là đáp án. Sau Should phải là động từ nhưng câu trên dùng danh
từ.
2. Từ gần giống nhau về cách đọc hoặc cách viết
Đôi khi người ra đề sẽ dùng mẹo đánh lỗi sai bằng cách thay những từ học sinh
hay nhầm như raise và rise, affect và effect nên các em chú ý kiểu lỗi này nhé.
Ví dụ:
The cold night didn't effect Jule this time because he used his magic to keep himself
warm.

Trong ví dụ trên, B là đáp án. Sau trợ động từ didn’t phải dùng động từ (affect)
nhưng câu trên dùng danh từ (effect).
3. Sai về từ dùng trong các cụm từ cố định
Người ra đề cũng có thể để lỗi sai trong các cụm từ cố định. Cụ thể là làm sai
động từ, hoặc danh từ kết hợp, hoặc giới từ kết hợp.
Ví dụ:
(1) The governments are making attempts to rise people’s awareness of the
environment

protection.
Trong ví dụ trên, cụm từ cố định là to raise awareness chứ KHÔNG phải là rise
awareness nên lỗi sai ở B.
(2) My mother is always willing to give her hands with washing my clothes

Trong câu trên, đặc ngữ give smb a hand = help (giúp đỡ ai) KHÔNG thể để số nhiều
ở từ hand nên lỗi sai ở C.
