Title: "Tagas Boulevard Clean-Up Crusade: Uniting for a Cleaner Environment on February 17th"

Proponents:

The participants for this community-based clean-up drive activity on Tagas Boulevard will be the
students enrolled in the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) program at Partido State University Goa
Campus.

Objective:
The primary objective of this activity is to engage CWTS students in community service through a clean-
up drive, fostering a sense of civic responsibility and environmental awareness. The project aims to
contribute to the local community's cleanliness and environmental sustainability.

Date and Venue:


The proposed date for the clean-up drive is on February 17, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and the
selected venue is the Tagas Boulevard that is a community or public area in need of cleaning.

Activity Details:
1. Pre-event Briefing:
Conduct a pre-event briefing for all participating students to discuss the importance of community
service, environmental conservation, and safety guidelines during the clean-up drive.
2. Collaboration with Local Authorities:
Coordinate with local authorities, such as the barangay officials or environmental office, to obtain
necessary permits and support for the activity. Seek their guidance in identifying areas that require
attention.
3. Materials and Resources:
Secure necessary materials such as trash bags, gloves, and cleaning tools. Collaborate with local
businesses or sponsors for donations or discounts on materials.
4. Community Engagement:
Reach out to the local community to inform them about the clean-up drive. Encourage residents to
participate and raise awareness about the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
5. Data Collection:

Implement a data collection system to monitor the amount and types of waste collected. This information

The budgetary requirement consists of materials and snacks for the proponents.
