Crime crime no more crime

We want peace no more crime
Crime tun up inna the place it nuh easy at all
Fadda a dead and madda a bawl
Pickney mouth full up a white scrawl
Pow! Pow! And another one fall
We have to pray to almighty God
Because this crime rate nuh easy at all
Crime crime no more crime
We want peace no more crime
Suicide, murder and forcable rape
What a world wi living in
When everyday wi walk inna fear
What a crisis we have in our society
We need to work together to protect
humanity Crime crime no more crime
We want peace no more crime
But look how wi little country a mash up
A bare shootout, lick down and chop up
More while we have to be glad that we live to
see another day
Because dem youth yah love ave dem own way
Crime crime no more crime
We want peace no more crime
We can’t even stay out late with our friends
Because wi parents fraid people tek wi weh
To them guns and knives are just toys
Somehow it’s a signs of bravery for boys
Bodies lying in the road motionless
People dying from gunshot wounds on hospital beds
When a simple shrug could be enough
Why do these young men always choose to pull out a gun
Crime crime no more crime
We want peace no more crime
