WHAT IS MOTHER TONGUE?

The first language that a person acquired at home when they were young and could still
understand at the time the data was gathered.

One’s native language and a language from which another language develops.

A child's mother tongue is the language they are exposed to from birth and plays a crucial
role in helping to define our emotions and ideas.

For the development of second languages, literacy, and other critical thinking abilities,
studying in one's home tongue is equally essential.

-What is the Content and pedagogy of Mother Tongue?

The composition of the mother tongue as a language, works of literature written in the
mother tongue, approaches to teaching the language, creation of teaching resources, and
evaluation.

Mother Tongue in education is when a kid receives instruction in one or more of their
mother tongues, it is referred to as mother tongue education.

The mother tongue is regarded as the most precious and significant component of the
human experience for a number of reasons. It is essential for interpreting people's thoughts
and feelings. Speaking in one's mother tongue is essential to a child's overall development
while they are young.
