NO EXCUSE! Walang palusot!

Sinampal ka o sinapak dahil pagod siya?

Hindi naman daw niya sinasadya.
Pinipilit kang makipag-sex kahit ayaw mo? E
asawa ka naman daw niya!
Minumura ka. Minamaliit. Iniinsulto. E kasalanan
mo raw!

Tama na. Walang palusot. NO EXCUSE! Gender

based violence yan!

Today marks the start of 16 Days Of Activism

Against Gender Based Violence.

Did you know that 1 in 3 women will experience

GBV throughout their lifetime. The problem is we
have been mind conditioned through the years to
accept it - that somehow, it may have been also
out fault. Or we rationalize - it will only happen
once. We must stop.

Sa lahat ng aking mga kabaro, kapwa babae - let

us stand together in solidarity to fight against
VICTIM BLAMING and any form of tolerance
against diminishing the worth of women.

Sa lahat ng nangangailangan ng tulong, WALANG

DAPAT IKAHIYA. Please call 911
and @lunascollective_ and share your story. Get
help!

A Filipina protected by the state through laws.

One of these is the Republic Act 9262 – Anti-Violence Against Women and
their Children Act of 2004.

It provides security (protection) for our women and children against abusive
spouses, partners, or even old partners.
Whether it’s a man or a lesbian, an ex or not, they can still be held
accountable under the VAWC Law.

How can they be held accountable under the law?

 First, if you experience physical abuse.
1. acts that include bodily or physical harm
2. causing/ threatening/ attempting to cause physical harm to the
woman or her child
3. placing the woman or her child in fear of imminent physical harm

 Sexual Abuse
1. rape
2. sexual harassment
3. acts of lasciviousness
4. treating a woman or her child as a sex object
5. making demeaning and sexually suggestive remarks
6. physically attacking the sexual parts of the victim’s body
7. forcing to watch obscene publications and indecent shows
8. forcing to do indecent acts and/ or films thereof
9. causing or attempting to make the woman or her child to perform
sexual acts (that do not constitute rape) by use of force, threats, and
intimidation
10. prostituting the woman or her child
