4th QUARTER NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL 2023

NARRATIVE REPORT
Relative to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council
(NDRRMC) Memorandum No. 090, s. 2023 and OUPS Memorandum No. 2023-04-1668,
“Reiteration on the Conduct of CY 2023 Quarterly Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake
Drill”, Matias Yusay Memorial Elementary School, headed by Mrs. Charrie S. Depalubos,
Teacher III-OIC, participated in the 4th Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill
(NSED), Thursday, November 9, 2023.

At exactly 9 o’clock in the morning, the said drill commenced. All school personnel
and learners who are in the school premises, performed the “Duck/Drop, Cover, Hold,
Clear, and Out” procedure simultaneously.

The said activity was conducted with no prejudice to age, gender identity, sexual
orientation, civil status, disability, religion, ethnicity, or political affiliation of the
participants, subject to the school’s needs and requirements.
