Group, Crdit AgricoIe S.A. is subject to European
and French IegisIation and reguIations on the
prevention of money Iaundering and terrorist
financing and on the enforcement of embargos.

Crdit Agricole S.A. has established Group policies
which require the implementation of an anti-money
laundering and terrorist financing system, mainly
including:
O Know your customer rules to identify and obtain
information about customers or their beneficial owners.
O Rules for identifying, documenting and analysing
transactions made by customers in order to detect any
sums or transactions that may constitute money
laundering or terrorist financing activities.
O Rules for reporting suspicious transactions to the
relevant Financial ntelligence Unit (Tracfin in France).
O Rules for archiving, training and internal control.

entities, except where the applicable local legislation
imposes stricter rules or does not permit or is
incompatible with these policies.

Crdit Agricole S.A. is subject to supervision by the
Commission Bancaire and the Autorit des Marchs
Financiers, which, as regulators, ensure that it complies
with regulations.

Crdit Agricole S.A. signed up to the United Nations
Global Compact in 2003. Under the terms of the
Compact, the company and its subsidiaries are

A first for a French bank, Crdit Agricole CB, Crdit
Agricole's investment bank, was one of the founders of
the Equator Principles in 2003 alongside nine other
international banks. The aim of the initiative is to assess
the social and environmental impacts of the projects they
finance.

Amundi, Crdit Agricole's asset management subsidiary,
was one of the first signatories of the Principles for
Responsible nvestment introduced in 2006.

Crdit Agricole was one of the first financial institutions
to adopt the Climate Principles in 2008. Combating
climate change is central to our strategy and a key
priority of our overall social and environmental
responsibility policy.

At Crdit Agricole we are convinced that diversity is a
strength. That is why Crdit Agricole S.A. and 10 of its
subsidiaries adopted a Diversity Charter in 2008 with the
aim of giving practical expression to our determination to
combat discrimination.

The Human Rights Charter adopted at the end of 2009
has its roots in the conviction that respect for human
