 Research Approach

❖ Telephone numbers were selected through Pulse’s database which was collected through various surveys in the past many years

❖ 1000+ calls were done from 30th January to 1ST February 2024, before this first round was conducted from January 17th to 20th,
2024

❖ A team of 10 female callers was interviewed during the legal time

❖ Interviews were conducted in all districts and all ethnicities with the following distribution (By Mother Tongue)

❖ Results are weighted back on districts, age, and Socio-Economic Class

 Limitations of Computer Assisted Telephonic Interviews
(CATI)

❖ CATI is a fast, reliable, effective and economical way to get the “Feelers”
& “Directions” but it can’t replace the robustness of “Face to Face
Interviews”

❖ In study we hand, we covered all Districts and ethnicities of the city but
it’s not covering all Socio Economic Classes as they fall in city
population

❖ Sometime people reluctant to answer the Party Choice questions in

CATI, however it’s extremely reliable in perceptions related questions

❖ Usually, coverage of Lower SECs are less in these studies

❖ However, in final results disproportion population managed through

statistical process of weighting and projection which is subscribed way
of social and marketing researches
