Healthy way of life

I try to lead a healthy way of life because prevention is better than cure.
What can I do for my health?
1. I select what to eat. I have a balanced diet.
A balanced diet contains carbohydrates, protein, fibres, vitamins and minerals.
A balanced diet strengthens your immune system.
- I never miss meals. I try to eat at least three times a day.
- As for breakfast, I usually eat something substantial.
- I eat soup every day.
- In the evening I only have a light meal because I don't want to become overweight.
- I try to avoid junk food which contains a lot of carbohydrates, preservatives and additives (However I
sometimes have a pizza or a burger with chips.)
- I eat lots of fruit, vegetables, salad, dairy products, white meat, fish, grains.
- I drink enough water during the day. I prefer mineral water. I never drink fattening refreshments or
fizzy drinks.

2. I try to find time to switch off and recharge my batteries.


I try to move my body as often as I can:

- I go swimming regularly (once / twice /...times a week)


- I like running/ jogging in the evenings.
- I attend a fitness club/ aerobic lessons / I go to a gym.
- I play with my...
- I ride a bicycle... In sunny weather I protect my skin with using sunscreen and wearing a hat.
- I walk to school/I go to school by bicycle..
- I do some press-ups (Am. push-ups) and sit-ups / weight-training at home.
- I have five PE lessons a week. I always try to do my best in these lessons.
- I often go on trips with my school and family. (Ezekből 5 kell.)

3. What can I do for my mental health?


- I spend lots of time with my family and friends.
- I believe in God and I pray every day.
- I go to church regularly.

In summary, / To sum up, I am health-conscious.


I hope I will have less health problems in the future
