Healthy Way of Life
I try to lead a healthy way of life because prevention is better than cure.
What can I do for my health?
1. I select what to eat. I have a balanced diet.
A balanced diet contains carbohydrates, protein, fibres, vitamins and minerals.
A balanced diet strengthens your immune system.
- I never miss meals. I try to eat at least three times a day.
- As for breakfast, I usually eat something substantial.
- I eat soup every day.
- In the evening I only have a light meal because I don't want to become overweight.
- I try to avoid junk food which contains a lot of carbohydrates, preservatives and additives (However I
sometimes have a pizza or a burger with chips.)
- I eat lots of fruit, vegetables, salad, dairy products, white meat, fish, grains.
- I drink enough water during the day. I prefer mineral water. I never drink fattening refreshments or
fizzy drinks.
