SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT : HEALTHY LIVING

DAILY DIET

DAILY DIET Breakfast: a bowl of cereal (usually) sometimes I will have waffles, juice, and bacon. Lunch: banana bread, fiber1 bar, a lot of water, whole grain chips, and other random, most likely, unhealthy snacks.. Dinner: sometimes I will have chicken, macaroni, rice, etc. but usually I wont really eat a dinner, ill just have more snacks, which i should probably change that.
Snacks: some snacks that I will have throughout the day will be a fiber1 bar, grapes, mango, and pineapple (if we have any)

How can I improve:


I can improve my eating by eating healthier food and by always making sure to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I can also improve my eating by following Canadas food guide, which encourages a variety of foods from four food groups Vegetables & Fruit, Grain Products, Milk and Alternatives, and Meat and Alternatives. I can also improve my eating if I actually brought a sandwich or some sort of lunch to school, instead of just snacks.

HEALTHY LUNCHES

HOW CAN I CREATE HEALTHY LUNCHES: 1. I can start bringing a sandwich to school 2. I can make ceasar salads when I am at home and want a healthy lunch 3. I can bring something from the four food groups recommended which includes, Vegetables and fruit (mango, pineapple, grapes, etc.), Grain products (crackers, bread, etc.), milk and alternatives (yogurt), meat and alternatives (chicken sandwich)

DIFFICULTIES OF EATING HEALTHY WHILE LIVING A BUSY LIFE

As we all know its very difficult to eat healthy in general, let alone when you are living a busy life and dont have time to make healthy meals. Here are some ways that will help you eat healthy while still living a busy life: 1. Set a schedule, this way you will realize that you have a lot more time than you actually thought, you most likely do have time to make healthier lunches for yourself. 2. Freezing food: if you freeze a load of healthy food at the start of the week, you can have them throughout the week. 3. Drink lots of water: its healthy and free! 4. Protein shakes: drinking protein shakes can be helpful to ensure that you are getting enough protein in your life. And they are very quick to make!

MEDIAS EFFECT ON THE WAY WE FEEL ABOUT OURSELVES

Media has made a huge effect on the way we feel about ourselves, because the majority of what they advertise is woman who look like they starve themselves and who have bones sticking out from their body very noticeably. Media has completely changed what the average woman looks like and has made it so they advertise the average runway model. Many people feel differently about themselves when they see what the media is advertising because it makes themselves feel ugly simply because they do not look like the girls in the photo. This I believe is ridiculous because girls feel like an outcast when they see perfect girls in the media but in reality the majority of the woman in this world are ALL different looking and only a small percent of girls actually do look like the ones in the media.

HOW TO REDUCE STRESS IN MY LIFE

I can reduce stress in my life by:

MY STRESS

I am not a very stressed out person but there are times when I definitely get way to stressed out and need a little guidance from others. I become very stressed out in the following situations: 1. My room is messy. 2. Presenting in front of crowds. 3. When I become very far behind in school. 4. Unnecessary conflict 5. When my moms mad at me I become stressed because I hate when shes mad at me.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES

I dont have many physical activities in my life .. I have physical education in school this semester and that gives me that chance to run around and get exercise while having fun. I also like to snowboard which is really good exercise for my legs and its also really fun. Occasionally I will go to the gym with my dad, but not very often. In the summer, I go to knox mountain quite often and walk up it, which isn't much exercise but it gives me a chance to get out of my house and see a beautiful view. Thats about all the physical activity I have.
