received your letter ofJanuary 18, 2022 regarding the heartbreaking situation involving
Harmony Montgomery. I share your view that we need to learn as much as we can about what
happened. To that end, the Massachusetts Trial Court is cooperating fully with the
Massachusetts Officeofthe Child Advocate's reviewof this tragedy. In addition, the
Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court hasdirected theChief Justiceof the Trial Court to
conducta reviewofthe matter. We will take all responsive measures warranted by the facts and
the law.
