ABSTRACT

Despite being widely used, improvised stands have received very little attention

from researchers over the past few decades. Usually, one meter or so above the

injection location should be where you hold the solution container. Beyond this purpose,

a stand's other features serve only to increase patient and hospital comfort. The merits

and weaknesses of the currently employed stand must be identified in order to improve

the present improvised dextrose stand design.

The creation of the improvised dextrose stand required 60 hours of designing

and constructing. Up till the project was put together, the practice was repeated

regularly. To determine the project's effectiveness and usefulness, a number of tests

were conducted. The improvised dextrose stand's key parts are steel, flat bar, bolt,

wheel caster, thalus hook, and strap. The end solution demonstrates how highly

practical, economical, and aesthetically pleasing the makeshift dextrose stand is. The

project is tested and evaluated by the researchers using a questionnaire.

The project is functional and effective, according to the study's findings. The

project is carrying out its intended tasks and is very beneficial to the patient. It also

demonstrates how at ease the person utilizing the improvise dextrose stand is. When the

patient can walk without holding the pole by hand, it functions well. The analysis

suggests using aluminum steel instead of steel bar to make the project's upper portion

lighter.
