CHAIRPERSON- accountable for overseeing the organization's plans and
procedures to meet the highest standards of performance.
A chairperson's responsibilities also include keeping an eye
on the performance of the staff, evaluating the decisions
and performance of the committee, reporting and updating
the group during meetings, making required improvements
to the existing policies and procedures, and organizing the
committee's special events and activities.
To guide the group toward the success of the company, the
chairman needs to possess strong communication and
leadership abilities.

FINANCIAL Financial managers analyze data and provide top managers
with suggestions for maximizing profits. An organization's

financial well-being is the responsibility of its financial
managers.
For the long-term financial objectives of their company,
they design plans, oversee investment operations, and
produce financial reports.

DESIGN Design managers coordinate all of the design work needed
for building projects. They oversee the creation of the

blueprints and technical drawings needed for building a
structure.
To produce coordinated designs that can be used during
construction and help with structural maintenance once
finished, design managers collaborate with architects,
structural, service, specialty engineers, and BIM
technicians.

ACCOUNTING Construction accountants are professionals who manage
the financial aspects of construction projects. They are

responsible for creating and tracking budgets, analyzing
costs, verifying invoices, and reporting on profitability.
They also ensure compliance with tax laws, contracts, and
industry standards.

CASHIER Cashier staff in construction are professionals who handle


the financial transactions related to construction projects.

They may work for contractors, subcontractors, suppliers,
or clients. Some of their duties and responsibilities are:
Processing payments from customers, clients, or other
parties using cash, cheque, credit card, or electronic
transfer.
Issuing invoices, receipts, statements, and other

Recording and tracking all transactions in accounting
software or spreadsheets.
Reconciling accounts and preparing reports on cash flow, expenses,
and revenue.
Handling petty cash, bank deposits, and withdrawals.
Resolving any discrepancies or errors in the transactions or records.
Ensuring compliance with tax laws, regulations, and contracts.
Communicating with project managers, accountants, auditors, and
other stakeholders regarding the financial status of the projects.
Providing customer service and answering queries from customers,
clients, or other parties.
VISUAL
STAFF
Visual and graphic staff in construction are professionals who create
and design visual elements for construction projects. They may work for
architects, engineers, contractors, or clients. Some of their duties and
responsibilities are:
Developing and producing graphics, logos, icons, illustrations,
animations, and other visual materials for project proposals,
presentations, reports, websites, and marketing campaigns.
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, architects, and other
stakeholders to understand the project requirements, objectives, and
specifications.

PROJECT/
CONSTRUCTION STAFF
Responsible for the following:
Tracking daily productivity of the crews and comparing this rate to
the budget and schedule.
Producing basic reports and status updates.
Taking progress photos and noting daily activity.
Ordering and coordinating the delivery of materials, equipment and
supplies as needed.
Taking basic measurements, doing rough surveying and laying out as
required.
PLANNING/OPERATION
STAFF
Their main task is overseeing various aspects of operations
simultaneously to ensure projects are completed on time and within
budget.
To do this successfully, operations managers have to collaborate with
and coordinate many people on a daily basis, including not only
architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, but construction
material suppliers, and clients as well.
