Release the hydraulic pressure from the

boom system and raise the main valve
mounting frame. See instructions in the
boom manual.

Fit the hydraulic run-tee connector to

the hydraulic line going from the main
valve to the lift cylinder front end.

Fit the pressure switch.

(*) Wrap the unused cable in plastic

Fix the BFE relay box in a safe and fix inside of the pedestal.
position inside pedestal using 4 mm
screws (4 pcs.)

Unplug the control cables from

valve actuators for the hammer and
connect one cable (*) to the input
connector of the BFE box

Connect the BFE output cables to

the valve actuators

Pressure switch adjustment

The pressure switch only allows the
hammer to be “fired” when there is
enough hydraulic pressure in the lift
cylinders pressing the hammer against
a rock.

The switching point “S.P.1” is factory

set to 75 bar, but it can be adjusted
according to the attached instructions.

Disconnect the hammer actuator cables

from the main valve before adjustments
and activate the “Hammer fire” button to
energize on the pressure switch.
