account. It is important that we speak to you in person to check your ID and confirm your tax residency
information. Please bring the following documents when you visit the branch:
You'll need to provide your ID for verification within 20 days of opening your account or your account may
automatically close. You can reapply at any CommBank branch.

you may only receive your salary and transact on your account, once you have completed the step above.
