MY FAVORITE CHARACTER WOULD BE:

Coraline Jones. A smart yet intrepid girl that is full of imagination.

As she is constantly brushed aside by her parents, she becomes more isolated in
her new surroundings.
Her curiosity however led her to an adventure that becomes a terrifying and an
intriguing experience for her.

As you can see in the slide, there is a small icon near the question that presents
a mirror.
For me, the mirrors represents Coraline's self-confidence in a figurative way. She
often looks at her own
reflection to gather her strength and to encourage herself.

Below the mirror, is the door that represents her curiosity.

Coraline's curiosity is what made her interesting.
The smell of danger that awaits her was evident, but for her, it was faint.
This led her to discover the other dimension without fear.

Lastly, the doll represents her maturity.

For an 11 years old child, I find her interests and behavior to be somewhat mature.
That does not however include her
continuous act of impulse. A flaw that makes her realistic for a child that is
constantly set aside.

But what made me like her? How do I feel connected to her?

Well the small icon near this question that represents the addin stone, a stone in
the movie and the novel
signifies her empathy towards the ghosts and her determination. It is an admirable
trait that
I feel connected to.

The sewing kit below, shows Coraline's true nature and moral intention.
These buttons acts are the windows to one souls. considering that the beldam's goal
is to take childrens eyes and sew buttons, Coraline did not falter and remained
focus on her goal

Lastly, the small picture of The Beldam's hands lying on her arms signifies
Coraline's capability to control her fate. That no one
should control her destiny but her as shown when she won against the beldam.

These are all the small details that makes her my favorite fictional character. She
is a strong yet a brave character that
surprises everyone with her unique charm.
