1.Introduction
The eParticipation portal admin user guide provides instructions on accessing the admin portal and
performing necessary content updates, including the publication of public consultancies, events,
maintenance of photo galleries, moderation of feedback, and periodic updates of subscribers on site
updates.
2. Functionalities
General Admin User logging steps in to the eparticipation.gov.lk Admin Portal would be as follows:
Logging:
1. Access the Login Page:
o Open your web browser and navigate to the eParticipation Admin Portal login
page by visiting the below given URL:
o https://eparticipation.gov.lk/

2. Enter Your Credentials:
o In the provided Username field, enter your unique username associated with the
admin account.
o Move to the Password field and input your password.
3. Click "SIGN IN":
o Click the "SIGN IN" button to access the admin portal.
After successfully logging in, you can access the dashboard of the admin portal. There
are eight (8) option in this dashboard portal.

2.1 Forum [Public consultation]

Once you click the forum you will direct to the public consultations administration page. There
you can see already published public consultancies together with search bar and add options.
In addition to that you can see an option to edit already published public consultancies.

2.1.1 Add a new public consultancy
2.1.1.1 Click on the "Add" button on the right side.
2.1.1.2 Enter a title for your post in the "Title" field.
2.1.1.3 Enter a short description for your post in the "Short Description" field.
2.1.1.4 Enter the body of your post in the "Description" field.
2.1.1.5 Ensure that the status is set to “Publish”.
2.1.1.6 Click the “Submit” button.
2.1.1.7 After clicking the submit button, you can upload a photo. To do that, select the
required image from your computer relevant to the article and drag and drop it into the
provided space.

2.1.1.8 Then click the submit button.

2.1.2.1 Click on the edit button next to the relevant article.
2.1.2.2 Edit the relevant content of the particular article.
2.1.2.3 Ensure that the status is set to 'Publish.'
2.1.2.4 Click the Submit button.

2.2 Event
Once you click the Event you will direct to the Event administration page. There you can see
already published Event together with search bar and add options.
In addition to that you can see an option to edit already published Events.

2.2.1 Add a new Event:
Title: This field is required and should be used to enter a short, descriptive title for the
event.
Short Description: This field is also required and should be used to provide a brief
overview of the event.
Description: This field is optional and can be used to provide a more detailed description
of the event.
Status: This field allows you to choose whether the event should be published or drafted.
Start Date: This field is required and should be used to enter the date and time when the
event starts.
End Date: This field is required and should be used to enter the date and time when the
event ends.
Registration Start Date: This field is optional and can be used to specify the date when
registration for the event opens.
Registration End Date: This field is optional and can be used to specify the date when
registration for the event closes.
Ensure that status is showing as “Publish”.
Click on “Submit” button.
After clicking the submit button, you can upload a photo. for that select the required
image from your computer relevant to the article and drag and drop on the provided
space.

2.3 General Feedback

Once you click the General Feedback you will direct to the General Feedback administration
page. There you can see already published General Feedback with search bar and view Icon.

This is general feedback view page. All the details entered by the user are shown here. It is
decided by the admin whether to Approve or Reject.

Once you click the Gallery you will direct to the gallery administration page. There you can see
already published gallery together with search bar and add options.

In addition to that you can see an option to edit already published gallery.
Add a new gallery
Title: This is the title of the Gallery, which will be displayed on the website.
Status: This field indicates the status of the Gallery item, which can be set to either
"Published" for public visibility or "Private" for restricted access.

Once you click the Subscription you will direct to the Subscription administration page. There
you can see already list of Subscribers .
