Dear Customer!
Dear Customer!
Thank you for purchasing Triol Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), the key to your
successful industrial strategy.
Triol AT27 VFD is a reliable solution for oil and mining industries, metallurgy,
construction, housing and public utilities, and other industrial sectors, that helps you
increase the lifetime of your equipment, optimize your technological processes, and
reduce maintenance costs.
Triol AT27 VFD is a complex electrical drive that must be operated by a qualified
personnel, inappropriate or incompetent operation of the drive can cause failures of
both the drive and working parts.
The VFD is complete with the following manuals:
Operation Manual
Installation Manual
Quickstart Manual
Registration Certificate
IMPORTANT: This manual includes only the basic steps required to run with VFD
on-site operation: setting parameters without motor, with motor, without load test and
with load test.
The list may be extended with the additional documents (The Factory Acceptance
Testing (FAT) and others) depending on the VFD line.
NOTE: The procedures of setting into operation, external equipment connections
(analog/digital input/outputs sensors etc.) are given in the Operation Manual in print.
The controller settings are given in the Programming Manual in print. The Modbus
Map is available in electronic version only.
Procedures of starting/stop, recommendations for settings, connection of external
equipment (such as analog/digital input/outputs sensors are given in the Operation
manual.

After emergency stop button test, reset alarm status in UMKA 27 controller. For
this case set status "Fault Ack" from "No" to "Yes" in first (main) page of UMKA 27
controller. In case of unsuccessful test, check serviceability of emergency button
and connection of wires to button and UMKA 27. After test is completed go to next
page by pressing "Next" button.

Attention! Before testing make sure that power circuits are not earthed on
high voltage side and HV circuits are disassembled.
If test is failed, please check faults and statuses of power cells which you can find
on a page shown in figure 17. If the problem is not identified, please contact
customer service of TRIOL Corporation.

If the test is failed by DC bus undervoltage of power cell, then reduce acceleration
time in «Acceleration time» window for one second and try to test again.
If you find other faults, please contact customer service of TRIOL Corporation.

If the switchgear does not contain the “Input switchgear fault” and “Readiness of
input switchgear” signals it is necessary to install a jumper on the contacts 9 and 10
of the ХТ100 terminal block simulating the signal “Readiness of input switchgear”
and contacts 8 and 9 must remain open as shown in figure 20.

Depending on the success of testing Wizard generates a full conclusion about
readiness of the VFD for operation:
"VFD not ready for operation! »-AT27 is not ready for operation;
"VFD ready for operation! »-AT27 is ready for operation.
Triol AT27 VFD tests are considered passed successfully if the VFD passed the
following points:
- ventilation is operating;
- expansion boards are operating;
- precharge is operating;
- PWM is operating;
- AT27 operates without HV mains;
- AT27 operates with HV mains and motor;
- AT27 operates with HV mains, with motor and load.
