The pre-match meeting went on well given that it was a repeat of the previous day before the postponement. The content
and all logistics related to the game were all handled with the necessary stakeholders as per the attendance register.

Khombindlela Security Company was in charge of the security matters. Mr Mduduzi Hadebe with cell no 0836604366 was the
head of security. They provided 15 security personnel and the home team added two personnel.

Occupants of the benches in the technical area behaved responsibly. The fourth did not have challenges with them.

BEHAVIOUR OF SPECTATORS

Spectators of the home team kept cheering their team during the game and there were no challenges with them after the
game.

CONDITION OF PITCH

The pitch had improved from the previous day when it was waterlogged, resulting to the postponement to the following day.
Game started and played to a finish without challenges. There were no injuries resulting from the condition of the pitch.

GENERAL CONDITION OF VENUE

The venue is generally well looked after.

WEATHER

The weather had also improved from the previous day and had allowed the pitch to dry out a bit. Rain started coming down
but did not disturb the game as it lasted for few minutes, about 6 minutes.

SPECTATOR SERVICES (GENERAL CLEANLINESS, TOILETS, FOOD AND BEVERAGE, ETC.)

Toilets were in a good working condition. Toilet paper was provided in both ladies and gents toilets.
There was no food and beverage outlets available.

COMPLIANCE WITH MARKETING AND KIT MANUALS

Both teams complied with marketing and kit manual. Teams’ colours did not clash and match officials were spoiled with
choice of their colours. Ball boys were in different colours.

ASSESSMENT OF FACILITIES
VENUE: Umhlathuze Sports Grounds

CONDITION OF GOALPOSTS
Well anchored and still in good paint. They were well aligned with the goal lines.
Spare goalposts were available.
CONDITION OF NETS
They were well attached around the posts and properly anchored. Goalkeepers had enough space and their movements were
not restricted.
Spare set of nets were available.
QUALITY AND ACCURACY OF LINE MARKINGS

The pitch responded well to the markings, given that the pitch was waterlogged the previous day. They were accurate and
visible throughout the game.

ADEQUACY OF STADIUM FLOODLIGHTS

The facility does not have floodlights

SIZE AND QUALITY OF TEAMS’ DRESSING ROOMS

Dressing rooms are not that big but they provided reasonable space for players to fit in.

SIZE AND QUALITY OF REFEREES’ DRESSING ROOMS

Dressing room is not that big enough, but provided match officials with some reasonable space.

AVAILABILITY OF TEAM MASSAGE TABLES

Both teams had massage tables in their separate massage rooms

Showers were available.

AVAILABILITY OF HOT AND COLD WATER

Cold water was available. There was no hot water for a month or so as the challenge with the geyser has been reported to the
municipality for repair/maintenance. The stadium manager said its work in progress.

Toilets were in good working condition with toilet papers supplied.

ADEQUACY OF OVERHEAD TUNNEL PROTECTION

Overhead tunnel protection was activated and very adequate.

AVAILABILITY OF LAYOUT OF TECHNICAL AREA FACILITIES (INCLUDING SEATING)

The technical area was well demarcated. Proper seating and unrestricted movements were ensured.

ADEQUACY OF SECURITY FENCE AROUND FIELD ENCLOSURE

The security personnel was visible although they were not posted around field enclosure.

AVAILABILITY AND PERFORMANCE OF MEDICAL PERSONNEL

Dr B.Munro, PR no 0576158 wa available for the crowd and Dr Mbambo, PR no 0576972 accompanied the home team.
They did not do much as there were no serious injuries.
AVAILABILITY OF AMBULANCES AND/OR OTHER RESPONSE VEHICLES

4 ambulances and 1 response vehicle were present. They had the necessary personnel.

AVAILABILITY AND PERFORMANCE OF STRETCHER BEARERS

2 stretchers were available with 8 personnel. The four shared the ground with one stretcher each.
They assisted injured players during the game. This enabled the game to flow and smooth removal of players.
POLICE PRESENCE AND VISIBILITY

20 police officers were around and visible. Warrant officer Manuel took charge of them.
6 Metro Traffic police with 3 vehicles were helpful.
ADEQUACY OF SECURITY STEWARDS

17 Security stewards were visible and adequate.

ASPECTS NOT UP TO STANDARD

Geyser: The stadium manager reported that the geyser is not in working condition and this has been reported a month ago.
