FIFA 2022 World Cup

FIFA stands for International Federation of Association Football. FIFA 2022 is an


international football association football tournament held between national teams.
This world cup takes place every four years. From 20 November to 18 December
in Qatar, this event is taking place. This is the first World Cup to be held in the
Arab world, and the second World Cup was held entirely in Asia after the 2002
tournament in South Korea and Japan.

The opening of this match was between Qatar and Ecuador at AL Bayt stadium,
Al Khor. The final will take place on his December 18, 2022.

This tournament was played in 1930 in Uruguay with 32 teams participating since
the 1998 event, and this will increase to 48 teams for the 2026 tournament. This
event will be played in eight venues across five cities. France the defending
champions, defeated Croatia 4–2 in the 2018 world cup final. This FIFA 2022
World Cup is being held in November and December due to Qatar's harsh weather
in summer. It will be played within 29 days.
FIFA 2022 in Qatar?

This is the first time that the FIFA 2022 world cup is going to be held in Qatar and
it’s become controversial as criticism of Qatar's human rights, especially the safety
of migrant workers and others said the intense weather (due to desert heat) has a
lack of a strong football culture is a sign of bribery for hosting rights and FIFA
corruption on a wider scale. Several countries, clubs and FIFA president Sepp and
individual players boycotted this event. Current FIFA chief Gianni Infantino has
defended the hosting of the tournament in Qatar.

Hosting FIFA 2022

It's been 12-year Qatar wait for this world cup and was awarded the rights to host
the tournament. Qatar made history by hosting the first FIFA world cup, which was
also staged first in the Middle East. And the peninsula guarantees to provide a
World Cup like no other.
For one thing, it will be the smallest country ever to host a World Cup, allowing
visitors to quickly move around the country and even attend multiple matches on
the same day. Combining traditional Arabian hospitality with ideal winter weather
conditions for watching a beautiful game, the World Cup in Qatar promises to be
the World Cup you will enjoy.

Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates are closer to the northwest and southeast
respectively, but the Qatar Peninsula shares the only border with Saudi Arabia. It
has high energetic community with 80% of the population and is used to
welcoming foreign guests.

Qatar has also built some of the greenest and most architecturally advanced sports
facilities seen in recent years. All will be shown to the world when the world's
biggest show finally lands in the Middle East.

The FIFA 2022 World cup will start with 32 teams that are divided in four groups:

The 32 teams were divided in to eight round-robin groups of four nations. The top
2 in each group will go for knockout stage. Then competition moves to round
16,quaterfinals,semifinals and final.

football administrator and current
president of FIFA 2022 World Cup. He
was elected the president of FIFA in 2016
by extraordinary congress in feb 2016.he
was reelected in June 2019.in January
2020, he was elected a member of the
international Olympic committee.
When the FIFA World Cup begins in Qatar for the first time in the Middle East
and Arab world, a beautiful opening ceremony held within the Al Bayt Stadium,
which was inspired by Bedouin tents, will welcome everyone to gather there.

The 30-minute event will be full of surprises, and the main act will include a
performance of Dreamers by renowned South Korean pop star Jung Kook of
BTS and Qatari singer Fahad Al-Kubaisi, another popular song from the FIFA
World Cup Official Soundtrack.

The 30-minute event will be full of surprises, and the main act will include a
performance of Dreamers by renowned South Korean pop star Jung Kook of BTS
and Qatari singer Fahad Al-Kubaisi, another popular song from the FIFA World
Cup Official Soundtrack.

The seven-act production, which will be directed by top-tier performers, will


weave Qatari history with cultures from across the world and pay tribute to all 32
competing teams, previous FIFA World Cup hosts, and event volunteers. Ghanim
Al Muftah, the ambassador for the FIFA World Cup, and Qatari singer Dana will
promote conversation on inclusion and diversity along with hundreds of other
performers.

The outstanding show will start at 17.40 local time (15.40 CET), therefore
spectators at the stadium and TV viewers are advised to take their seats from 17.30
local time (15.30 CET). The highly anticipated FIFA World Cup 2022 opening
match will begin at 19:00 local time (17:00 CET) with hosts Qatar taking the field
against Ecuador.
