For the first phase, the 32 teams competing at the Qatar 2022
World Cup were split into eight groups, ranging from Group A
to H. The top two teams from each group advance to the FIFA
World Cup 2022 Round of 16, These 16 teams will advance to
the knockout stage, where three rounds of play to decide which
teams would participate in the final, which will be held on 18
December 2022 at Lusail Stadium, coinciding with Qatar's
National Day.
Al Rihla
Al Rihla is the official match ball for FIFA
2022 made by Adidas . Al Rihla means “the
journey” in Arabic and is inspired by the
culture, architecture, iconic boats and flag of
Qatar. The 14th successive ball that adidas has
created for the FIFA World Cup™ is designed
to support peak game speeds, as it travels faster
in flight than any ball in the tournament’s
history. the Adidas ball has internal electronic
sensors, allowing detection of its speed and
position, updated 500 times per second and it
has to be charged before each game.
EFFECT ON ECONOMY
The 2022 FIFA World Cup is hosted for the first time by a Middle Eastern country.
Qatar 2022 CEO Nasser al-Khater expects that the FIFA World Cup will
contribute $17bn to Qatar's economy during the event.Around $220 billion has been
pumped into building an entirely new city, a state-of-the-art metro system and
hundreds of new hotel and apartment buildings. For world cup also help in boost to

CONTROVERSIES
FIFA 2022 is go through lots of controversies boycotts of this event were declared by
several countries, clubs ,and individual players..in December 2020 Qatar said rainbow
flags would be allowed but at 2022 FIFA world cup Qatari officials initially said thet they
will not prohibit the display of pride flags at tournament venues..

CONCLUSION
FIFA world cup 2022 is the most expensive world cup ever made . It’s help to boost
Qatar economy . The tourism also get boost for that .

controversies like LGBT , migrant workers the economy impact is good. Qatar 2022
CEO Nasser al-Khater expects that the FIFA World Cup will contribute $17bn to Qatar's
economy during the event, down from an initial estimate of $20bn.
