Executive Summary
This assignment, there will include the idea of the event, the feasibility of the event, the
budget plan, and the event outcome. Rules and regulations or policies, risk management, and a
contingency plan will be also included.
Summary
As an event manager, it is important to have a comprehensive understanding of the entire
process from beginning to end. This includes developing a strategy for managing the event that
outlines key objectives and milestones, as well as ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed
throughout every stage. It also involves creating detailed budgets and timelines that adhere to
any relevant regulations or restrictions, while staying on top of potential risks or issues that
may arise during planning or execution.
Introduction
Events may be calculated and alter the financial condition of a corporation. They are also
known as commercial occasions or exchanges. As a result, an event is a transaction that affects
the bookkeeping situation and can be accurately assessed. Do not forget that it should be both.
5 kinds of events
FIFA world Cup 2022
The 2022 FIFA World Cup was the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial
international men's football tournament contested by the national teams of the member
associations of FIFA. It was scheduled to be held in Qatar from November 21, 2022, to
December 18, 2022. This was the first time that the World Cup was held in November and
December, instead of the traditional June and July, due to the extreme heat in Qatar during the
summer months.
Unfortunately, as my training data only goes up until 2021, I do not have information on the
outcome of the tournament or any other specific details. Qatar was awarded the hosting rights
for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in December 2010, after winning a tightly contested bid against
several other countries, including Australia, Japan, South Korea, and the United States.
The bid was built on the promise of using state-of-the-art technology to create sustainable and
innovative stadiums and the country's commitment to investing in infrastructure and
transportation. Qatar also highlighted its compact size and central location, which would allow
for easier travel for fans and teams alike.
Despite initial criticism and concerns over the extreme heat in Qatar during the summer
months and questions about the country's human rights record, FIFA ultimately chose Qatar as
the host country. The tournament was later rescheduled to be held in November and
December 2022 to avoid the extreme heat.
It was the first time that the World Cup was to be held in the Arab world and only the second
time that it would be hosted in the Middle East after the tournament was held in South Korea
and Japan in 2002.
The organization and management of the 2022 FIFA World Cup would have been a massive
undertaking, involving the coordination of multiple stakeholders, including FIFA, the host
country, local authorities, and participating teams and fans. Some of the key tasks involved in
organizing the event would have included:
1. Venue construction and preparation: Building and upgrading the stadiums and training
facilities required for the tournament and ensuring that they meet FIFA's standards and
regulations.
3. Security and safety: Implementing measures to ensure the safety and security of all
participants, including players, fans, and officials, both inside and outside of the stadiums.
4. Accommodation and hospitality: Arranging accommodation and hospitality services for the
teams, officials, and media, as well as ensuring that the necessary infrastructure, such as
training facilities and medical centers, are in place.
5. Marketing and promotion: Launch a comprehensive marketing and promotional campaign to
build excitement and anticipation for the tournament, both in the host country and around the
world.
These are just some of the tasks involved in organizing a World Cup. It would have required a
significant investment of resources, including money, manpower, and expertise, to ensure that
the event was successful and ran smoothly.
The Rio Carnival is an annual festival held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, usually taking place in
February or early March. It is one of the largest and most famous Carnival celebrations in the
world, attracting millions of visitors from around the globe.
The Carnival is a celebration of music, dance, and costumes, and features elaborate parades,
street parties, and balls. The centerpiece of the event is the samba parade, where samba
schools compete against each other in a competition that lasts for several days.
Participants in the parade often wear elaborate costumes and dance to the beat of samba
music, which is an integral part of Brazilian culture. The event is known for its high energy,
vibrant atmosphere, and its celebration of Brazilian culture, history, and traditions.
The Rio Carnival is not only a celebration of music and dance, but it is also a celebration of life,
and it is a time for people to come together to have fun and forget about their daily worries.
The event is a significant part of Brazilian culture and is an expression of the country's rich
history and traditions.
The organization and management of the Rio Carnival is a massive undertaking, involving
coordination between multiple stakeholders, including the local government, private
organizations, and the community. Some of the key tasks involved in organizing the event
include:
Planning and preparation: Months of planning and preparation go into the organization of the
Rio Carnival, including the selection of samba schools to participate in the parade, the design of
floats and costumes, and the coordination of logistics.
Venue preparation: The preparation of the Sambadrome, the main venue for the samba
parade, is a critical part of the organization of the Carnival. This includes the construction of
temporary stands and the installation of lighting and sound systems.
Security: Ensuring the safety and security of participants and spectators is a top priority. This
involves the deployment of a large number of police officers and security personnel, as well as
the implementation of security measures such as bag searches and metal detectors.
Traffic and transportation management: With millions of visitors expected to attend the event,
managing traffic and transportation is a critical task. This includes the implementation of road
closures, the deployment of traffic management personnel, and the provision of alternative
transportation options.
The management of the Chinese New Year celebrations in China is a complex and multi-faceted
undertaking, involving the coordination of various government agencies, local communities,
and businesses. Some of the key tasks involved in managing the event include:
Planning and preparation: Months of planning and preparation go into the organization of the
Chinese New Year celebrations, including the selection of venues, the design of decorations,
and the coordination of logistics.
Security: Ensuring the safety and security of participants and spectators is a top priority. This
involves the deployment of a large number of police officers and security personnel, as well as
the implementation of security measures such as bag searches and metal detectors.
Traffic and transportation management: With millions of people expected to attend the
celebrations, managing traffic and transportation is critical. This includes the implementation of
road closures, the deployment of traffic management personnel, and the provision of
alternative transportation options.
Cultural preservation: Ensuring that the traditional elements of the Chinese New Year
celebrations are maintained and preserved, including the dragon and lion dances, temple fairs,
and other cultural activities.
The Super Bowl is not just a football game, it's a week-long celebration that includes a range of
events, concerts, and activities. The main event, of course, is the Super Bowl itself, which is held
at a different stadium each year and features the top two teams in the NFL competing for the
championship.
The organization and management of the Super Bowl is a massive undertaking, involving
coordination between multiple stakeholders, including the NFL, local governments, and private
organizations. Some of the key tasks involved in organizing the event include:
Venue selection and preparation: Selecting the venue for the Super Bowl and preparing it for
the event is a critical part of the planning process. This includes the construction of temporary
stands, the installation of lighting and sound systems, and the preparation of the playing
surface.
Security: Ensuring the safety and security of participants and spectators is a top priority. This
involves the deployment of a large number of police officers and security personnel, as well as
the implementation of security measures such as bag searches and metal detectors.
Traffic and transportation management: With thousands of people expected to attend the
event, managing traffic and transportation is critical. This includes the implementation of road
closures, the deployment of traffic management personnel, and the provision of alternative
transportation options.
Planning and preparation: Months of planning and preparation go into the organization of St.
Patrick's Day celebrations, including the selection of venues, the design of decorations, and the
coordination of logistics.
Security: Ensuring the safety and security of participants and spectators is a top priority. This
involves the deployment of security personnel and the implementation of security measures,
such as bag searches and crowd control measures.
Traffic and transportation management: With large crowds expected to attend the celebrations,
managing traffic and transportation is a critical task. This includes the implementation of road
closures, the deployment of traffic management personnel, and the provision of alternative
transportation options.
Cultural preservation: Ensuring that the traditional elements of the St. Patrick's Day
celebrations are maintained and preserved, such as the wearing of green clothing, the display
of Irish flags and symbols, and the performance of Irish music and dance.
These are just some of the tasks involved in organizing St. Patrick's Day celebrations. It requires
a significant investment of resources, including money, manpower, and expertise, to ensure
that the event is successful and runs smoothly. St. Patrick's Day is a major part of Irish culture
and is a source of pride for the Irish people and the Irish diaspora around the world.
Event organizers have different skills. However, if done collectively as a group, good results can
be produced. In the group, each team member has their own responsibility and accountability.
Those in charge also have skills equal to their responsibilities.
The event was held in the school. The school is a supportive community for Native kitchen
events. The community gave place and some resources for the event (e.g., tables and chairs).
The school allowed playing music on the event day. Since the event coincides with Valentine’s
Day. The school officers allow the students and everyone in the school to sell the tickets. School
officers requested to make Valentine’s Day theme at the event. The school is the perfect setting
for the event. As the event is held on Valentine’s Day, the event will be more attractive for the
customers. Group four has also surprised the customers
The word aim generally refers to the basic mission or intention of a data analysis. Sentences
expressing the aim of a program are often short and to the point. Because of their broad
nature, aims are typically always included at the beginning of a description of project aims.
They are more general and accessible than detailed and targeted. For example: The goal of this
study is to investigate the elements that contribute to partner violence.
The objective is frequently followed by a set of phrases detailing the research objectives of a
topic. The objectives specify the specific study subjects or concerns that the project intends to
investigate, expanding on the primary theme expressed in the research aim. At least two or
three scientific objectives are usually indicated. It is desirable to organize things in a bulleted
lists so that they may be easily found later in a concept or proposal.
For example: The objective of this study is: To explore why alcohol use is linked to enhanced
partner abuse (Thomas & Hodges, 2010).
Budgeting
A budget is a financial plan for a specific amount of time. It is an assessment of the expenses
that an event will generate, usually divided by group, to serve as a strategic plan for the event
to follow. Budgets might be for an individual or for a company. The previous type of budget is
as simple as keeping a daily record of expenses and income (Tamplin, 2021).
Budgeting is a schedule procedure in which thread decisions are frequently the typical because
the agency does not have the flexibility of not making decisions. After one period finishes, the
next one start, usually with little leisure and maintaining the same route as the previous year.
Budgeting practices can reduce friction, but they can also foster frustration (Schick, 2002).
Resources
A resource is defined as a base or provision from which advantages are generated. Ingredients,
irrigation, power, mineral, services, employees, expertise, and other assets that may be
changed to create value are examples of human resources. Resources may be depleted (e.g.
water, food or minerals). Resources can be classified as biologic (vegetation) or organisms
(vitamins), renewable (water) or non-renewable (fossil fuels), tangible (property) or intangible
(intelligence), natural (nature preserve) or man-made (water amusement park) resources
(Chan, 2016).
Venue
A venue is the location of a live event. If the live happening is not an accident or occurrence but
is planned (event management is the preparation of real events), then the venue is an event
venue, even if it is only used for one event.
There are numerous types of venues where events are held, they are as follows:
Team-working
According to The Oxford Dictionary of English Etymology (1966), teamwork represented "work
done with a team of creatures". Teamwork is the joint activity of a team, mainly when it is
effective and efficient. Teamwork is defined as work done by a group of people who have
unique skills, are responsible for making independent choices, have a common goal, and meet
together to communicate, discuss, and combine understanding from which preparations are
made, future decisions are influenced, and actions are determined (Xyrichis & Ream, 2008).
Communication
Contingency planning
Contingency planning is the creation of strategies to deal with situations such as a fire that
destroys essential organization information, a flood that damages a manufacturing plant, or an
earthquake that ruins a vital supplier. These strategies are specifically designed for worst-case
scenarios that can have a significant negative impact on a company. A contingency plan is very
tactical in nature because it includes action items designed to offset the harm caused by a
specific incident (Tools, Accounting, 2022).
Regulations are only delegated legislation. This states that the authority to make laws has been
transferred to other institutions. Regulations restrict how legal agencies operate and regulate
itself. An Act provides some independent agencies and statutory institutions with the
responsibility to carry out the act. These institutions operate in keeping with the regulations
established by the organization for its own management. Rules take place over regulations. The
primary goal of implementing regulations is to fill holes in the present legal system (S, 2022).

Gantt Chart
A Gantt graph is a sequential bar diagram that transforms the nuances of your project into an
understandable visual representation. Gantt diagrams are securely attached to the board's
cascade type project. Ultimately, each endeavour step should be completed before the next
stage can begin, and phases are rarely repeated (Derek Mau, 2020). The timeline for completing
tasks for Local Kitchen from the date of the group's formation to the day before it is facilitated
is shown in the accompanying diagram.
Each coordinator completes the many tasks in this Gantt-diagram in order to manage cutoff
timings and develop compelling event cutoff deadlines. The future tasks that have been
successfully completed are those that the coordinators intend to intentionally carry out when
they design the assignments.
Event agenda
The plan displays the assignments that were completed on the set-up day and the event day.
Resources
To make an event, need several resources. Table costs, sausages and drinks costs, electricity
costs, place costs, posters and banners costs, and paper tickets costs, are required for making a
proper event. Fortunately, tables, electricity, and a venue are provided by the school. Human
resources and investment are the main things we need to hold the entire event.
Htet Aung Zaw also as the team leader of Group-four is responsible for others invisible
problem or uncontrollable problem. The other team members will be support to the team
leader. If the problem is much bigger and the uncontrollable problem, we will get advice from
my teachers.
Event Outcomes
The good event outcome can be result by customers’ positive feedback and the great event
condition. If the customers like the garbage at the event day, the venue atmosphere, the
decoration, and marketing strategy are important in event day. At the event day, if there were
no big or uncontrollable problem, the event condition will be great. To get a good event
outcome result, the team four students were made three goals.
The first goal is to understand the buyers’ favourite. For these goals, the whole team made lots
of research with internal and external sources. After researching the foods, we decided to
choose Spicy Mala salad and three juices. Spicy mala salad is for the teenage and adult persons,
the three juices are for the older persons (teachers and old staffs) in school.
Second is to made the foods full of flavour and good to eat. The juices will also be made to have
decent taste without being too sweet. We will put some extra ingredients (spicy powder,
mayonnaise, sugar, and lime for sour taste in the juice). The customer satisfaction is important
for the event organizer. After the whole event, the conclusion is the customers’ feedback. Our
group third goal become customer satisfaction.
Evaluation and Justification to Create the Successful Event
For the first goal we have obviously achieve success. All the feedback from customer side is
well. All the customers tell in the event day and at the survey form. For the second goal, some
of the customers has complain about the juice. In the event day we heard that the juice has lots
of sugar for the older people. For the second goal we don’t have successfully achieve. The third
goal is perfectly complete. At the event we made survey form and ask to answer the customers.
In that survey form, more than fifty percent people answered positive answers.
The photos up above were taken on Local Kitchen's special day. Every task, duty, and
responsibility carried out by each coordinator during the event will be explained in detail.
Registration and MC
The main justification for participating was written in the enrolment corner. Also, it was crucial
to sell the food because there was only enough for 60 people. The main goal of the item is to
dispel the myth that there are different levels of benefits for different types of walk-in and
ticket holders. The possibility of mixing up separate students with tickets for the other event is
one of the risks. We gave welcome gifts to anybody who entered our store. Whatever the case,
the welcome presents had been set up in such a manner that everyone who had stopped over
would receive one. Htet Aung Zaw, one of Local Kitchen's event organizers, carried out these
tasks of signing up, inviting, and distributing welcome gifts. Together with providing food and
drinks, Khine Zar Zar Thin and Pyae Pyae Tun also explained the importance of the event's
name.
