There are millions of animal species in the world. They, exactly like us, eat,
breathe, grow, develop, and reproduce. They also love and hate. But there is one
thing in which man surpasses all other living beings - the mind. The human mind
is one of the most complex things in the world. There is no other thing that is at
the same time as mysterious and interesting as our mind! Or at least not yet.
The mind and the ability to think are the characteristics that distinguish a person
from all other creatures. Apart from people, no one else on this planet can make
rational decisions or to possess advanced cognitive abilities, including self-
awareness, abstract thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving. Our capacity for
language, complex communication, and the ability to plan the future are also
unmatched in the animal kingdom. The mind is the basis of intelligence. And
thanks to the intelligence that humans have developed over the past centuries and
millennia, we today live in one of the most peaceful times in all of human history
so far. We live in the Heaven!
But do not think that the Heaven we live in now just appeared out of nowhere.
Only until nearly 80 years ago, the world was rocked by 2 massive world wars in
which millions of people lost their lives. Survival has been of paramount
importance to the majority of people in the world. It was lived day by day and
with the hope that the Hell would end as soon as possible! And finally it
happened! The horror of war ends in 1945 and everything is left behind. From
that moment hell begins to turn into heaven! Common sense prevailed in ruling
politicians and the disastrous Second World War ended forever. If that hadn't
happened, I can't even imagine what life would be like now. It would be real
Hell!
The mind is an extremely powerful tool. It is stronger than we can even imagine.
For the wise man there is no door that it cannot open. The mind is capable of
fundamentally changing both the external and internal world of a person. It can
turn razed cities and countries into role models on the world stage and show that
nothing is impossible!
