Unbroken Ties

In the photo, we're bound by joy's embrace,

Two toddlers, innocence upon our faces.
A girl and boy, a bond that time can't fray,
In a sunlit park, we laughed the hours away.

His laughter still rings,

An unforgotten memory.
Gone now, but in this picture, filled with love,
A friendship that no death divides.
