trunk sending a sound like of a pregnant she-camel till the Prophet (

‫ )ﷺ‬came to it, and put his hand over it, then it became quiet.

you gather us just for this?”Almighty Allah sealed Abu

Lahab’s fate and later revealed Surah 111 in the Holy

Quran reading:

“Perished be the hands of Abu Lahab and ruined he be,

Neither his wealth nor what he has earned shall avail

him.

He shall shortly roast in a flaming fire.

And his wife — laden with faggots, Shall have a rope of

palm fiber round her neck. (Al Qur'an 111:1-5)

The Prophet (pbuh) was born on the

ninth Monday of the month of Rabi` al-
Awwal of the first year of the Elephant
Incident, corresponding to the
twentieth or twenty-second of the month
of April 571 AD.
And he died when he was sixty-three
years old
Ibn 'Abbas reported that Allah's Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬stayed in Mecca for
thirteen years (after he had received revelation) and stayed in Medina
for ten years, and he was sixty-three when he died. Book 43, Hadith 155 ,Sahih
Muslim 2351b

Thus, the Messenger (pbuh) would have

spent in this world sixty-three lunar years,
which is equivalent to the sixty-one solar
years, and the death took place on Monday,
Rabi` al-Awwal 13, 11 AH, corresponding to
June 8, 633 AD. Sheikh Muhammad al-
Tayyib al-Najjar also verified it in his book,
the statement indicated in the biography of
the Master of Messengers.
It is known that the calculation in the solar
years is less than the calculation in the lunar
years every thirty-three years.

elephant refused to advance towards the
