Importance of Seeratul Nabi PBUH

The life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is full of countless examples
that show his status as a role model for Muslim societies and individuals. His life is
one that was dominated by a superior morality, good habits, noble and gentle
feelings and superior skills, all of which are characteristics that help avoid people
from falling in a net of sin. The rich and the prosperous, the poor and the needy,
the ruler and the ruled, the weak and the lonely, the conqueror and the victorious
commander, the teacher and the student, the preacher and the mentor, the merchant
and the labour the employer and the employee - in other words, every sort of
person can find truths in Prophet Muhammad's life that constitute an example for
them to follow.

Prophet Muhammad's status as a role model is an issue based on the Holy Quran
and the sunnah. Islamic scholars, as with many other issues, have examined the
status of the Prophet as a role model and leader not in a sectional framework, but
from a unified perspective, and they have reached the conclusion that the best
method is to examine the verses of the Holy Quran that determine and demonstrate
the status of the Prophet as a whole. For this reason, when discussing the status of
the Prophet as a role model, issues such as believing in the Prophet, obedience to
the Prophet, following the Prophet, and disagreeing with the Prophet also come to
the front.

10 Lessons Derived from Makki lif of Holy Prohet PBUH.

Below we have put together lessons from his Makki life that we all should
follow to lead a fruitful life in this world and also in Hereafter.

1-Always speak the truth

Always speak the truth in your life no matter what’s the situation is. Learn to
be truthful, honest and sincere. Beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW)
said: “The best Jihad is when one speaks a true word in the presence of a
cruel ruler.”

2-We learn to be kind and gentle.

We learn to be kind, gentle, patient and tolerant just like Prophet Muhammad
(SAW). Spreading useful knowledge is the attribute communicated by the
Prophet (SAW) on Muslims.

3-Do good always.

Do good always even to those who offended you, give charity to the poor and
help the needy without expecting any material reward in return just like our
beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

4-Prophet had excellent intellect.

4-The Messenger of Allah (SAW) had an excellent, complete and sound

intellect. No man has ever had an intellect as complete and perfect as His. So
we should follow Him if we want to live a successful and perfect life.

5-We should think beyond narrow borders.

One should think beyond narrow borders. Holy Prophet (SAW) said: “He is
not one of us who calls for Tribalism/Nationalism, or who fights for
Tribalism, or who dies for Tribalism.” So we should try to think beyond this
no one is superior in terms of tribalism.
6-We should be honest.

One should be honest in trading or in business. Our beloved Prophet

Muhammad (SAW) was very honest in conducting trade and in His day to day
affairs.

7- We should live simple life.

Live simple life with little regard to worldly possessions. Our beloved Prophet
(SAW) adopted a simple and modest lifestyle. So we should also try to live a
simple life without being so much involved in worldly possessions.

8-We should always wish good for others.

8-Always wish good for others just like Prophet Muhammad (SAW) did in His
life. Muhammad (SAW) said: “A believer wishes for others what he wishes
for himself.”

9-Do not be unfair to others.

Do not be unfair to others just like Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Messenger of

Allah (SAW) warned those who do injustice to others in these words: “Beware
of injustice, for injustice will be darkness on the Day of Resurrection.”

10-We should be a man of high spirits.

Holy Prophet (PBUH) was a man of high spirits and lofty character. One of
His sayings is, “Even a smile can be charity.” Muhammad (SAW) was
always respectful of the old, caring towards the weak and loving towards the
children. We all should behave just like Prophet (PBUH) in our lives.

In short, Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is the great role model for Muslims in every
aspect of life. Quran is the book of guidance and Muhammad (SAW) implemented
the teachings of Quran in His life for us so that we can learn from His life. May
Allah (SWT) give us the strength to learn and implement His virtues in order to
succeed in this life and Hereafter
b.Basic Quranic Teachings of Adab-e-Nabi related to Surah Al-ahzab
1- excellent example

21  You have an excellent example in the Messenger of God; for anyone who seeks
God and the Last Day, and remembers God frequently.

2- Last and final of the Prophets.

 40  Muhammad is not the father of any of your men; but he is the Messenger
of God, and the seal of the prophets(last and final of the Prophets). God is
Cognizant of everything.

3- God and His angels give blessings to the Prophet.

 56  God and His angels give blessings to the Prophet. O you who
 believe, call for blessings on him, and greet him with a prayer of peace.

.Punishment of insult of Prophet -4

 57  Those who insult God and His Messenger, God has cursed them in this
life and in the Hereafter, and has prepared for them a demeaning
punishment.

5- Relationship between Prophet and believers.

The Prophet is closer to the believers than their [own] souls, in terms of what
he calls them to and what their own souls have called them to contravene,
and his wives are mothers to them. And blood-relatives are closer to one
another in God’s Book than the believers or the emigrants, though you
should do good to your friends. That is inscribed in the Book.

that, for Allah, easy.

31  But whoever of you remains obedient to God and His Messenger, and acts
righteously, We will give her a double reward; and We have prepared for her a
generous provision.

6-e- Guidance of Prophet for his Wives

32 O wives of the Prophet, you are not like anyone among women. If you

6-f- Guidance of Prophet for his Wives

33 And abide in your houses and do not display yourselves as [was] the
display of the former times of ignorance. And establish prayer and give
zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah intends only to remove
from you the impurity [of sin], O people of the [Prophet’s] household, and to
purify you with [extensive] purification.

7- Dealing with the Home of Prophet.

53 O you who have believed, do not enter the houses of the Prophet except
when you are permitted for a meal, without awaiting its readiness. But when
you are invited, then enter; and when you have eaten, disperse without
seeking to remain for conversation. Indeed, that [behavior] was troubling the
Prophet, and he is shy of [dismissing] you. But Allah is not shy of the truth.
And when you ask [his wives] for something, ask them from behind a
partition. That is purer for your hearts and their hearts. And it is not
[conceivable or lawful] for you to harm the Messenger of Allah or to marry
his wives after him, ever. Indeed, that would be in the sight of Allah an
enormity.
