He was born and he was raised first by his grandfather and then his uncle. He belonged to a
poor but respectable family of the Quraysh tribe. The family was active in Meccan politics and
trade. The life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a role model for every person of this world who
believes in Allah and the Day of Judgment. This source of light and guidance (Peace Be Upon
Him) can lead us completely. The world has seen a lot of scholars, philosophers and preachers
but none was as great as the Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him). Allah sent His
messengers in every period of history to guide the humanity. The world had been waiting for the
last Prophet for centuries. This long wait was ended with the prophet hood of the Prophet (Peace
Be Upon Him). He was sent as the last Prophet of Allah Almighty. His Shariah was regarded as
the last message of Allah and the previous Shariahs were abolished. His guidance was declared
sufficient for all till the end of this world. The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said, “If Hazrat
Musa had been alive he had no option but to follow me.”
Hazrat Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was born and died in the month of Rabi-ul-Awal. He
is an embodiment of mercy for all mankind. All the prophets guided the humans. But
Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) brought a revolution in the lives of the people. This
revolution is example-less in the history of mankind. Our love for the Prophet (Peace Be Upon
Him) involves not only the devotion and passion for him but to follow his deeds also. There is no
option left for us but to follow his teachings.
When the believers saw the enemy alliance, they said, “This is what Allah and His Messenger
had promised us. The promise of Allah and His Messenger has come true.” And this only
increased them in faith and submission.
For Muslims, no one has ever come closer to Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) in
having headship distinctiveness and they consider Muhammad (Peace Be Up on Him) as the
greatest reformist and leader. Allah has regarded Him (Peace Be Upon Him) in the Holy Quran
in these words:
“There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for
anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often.”
[Quran, 33: 21]
Because of possessing great leadership capabilities, He (Peace Be Upon Him) was chosen as
having the honor of being the last Prophet of the Almighty, and is said to be followed and
obeyed in order to thrive in the hereafter. The entire life of the Apostle (Peace Be Upon Him) of
God, the Exalted is full of such instances and examples where He showed exceptional traits of an
unbeaten principal in both the religious service as well as in handling a lot of secular issues. He
was always observed as a personification of morality, honesty, truthfulness, understanding of
others, and enlightening effective commanding etc. which is why we are directed by the Creator
of universe to pursue His “Uswa Hasanah” (the Best Examples) in every walk of life. Let us
discuss a few of the excellent leadership qualities of the Prophet, Muhammad (Peace Been
Upon Him) which revolutionized lives of millions, and still are as valuable as they were 1400
years ago.
Muhammad, in full Abū al-Qāsim Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib ibn Hāshim,
…
Muhammad unified Arabia into a single religious polity under Islam. Muslims and Bahá’ís
believe he is a messenger and prophet of God. The Quran, the central religious text in Islam,
alludes to Muhammad’s life. Muhammad’s life is traditionally defined into two periods: pre-hijra
(emigration) in Mecca (from 570 to 622 CE) and post-hijra in Medina (from 622 until 632 CE).
There are also traditional Muslim biographies of Muhammad (the sira literature), which provide
additional information about Muhammad’s life. Muhammad is almost universally considered by
Muslims as the last prophet sent by God to mankind. While non-Muslims regard Muhammad as
the founder of Islam, Muslims consider him to have restored the unaltered original monotheistic
faith of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and other prophets.
Childhood
Muhammad was born around the year 570 CE to the Banu Hashim clan of the Quraysh tribe, one
of Mecca’s prominent families. His father, Abdullah, died almost six months before Muhammad
was born. According to Islamic tradition, Muhammad was sent to live with a Bedouin family in
the desert, as desert life was considered healthier for infants. Muhammad stayed with his foster
mother, Halimah bint Abi Dhuayb, and her husband until he was two years old. At the age of six,
Muhammad lost his biological mother, Amina, to illness and was raised by his paternal
grandfather, Abd al-Muttalib, until he died when Muhammad was eight. He then came under the
care of his uncle Abu Talib, the new leader of Banu Hashim.
Adolescence And Early Adulthood
While still in his teens, Muhammad accompanied his uncle on trading journeys to Syria, gaining
experience in commercial trade, which was the only career open to him as an orphan. Islamic
tradition states that when Muhammad was either nine or twelve, while accompanying a caravan
to Syria he met a Christian monk or hermit named Bahira, who is said to have foreseen
Muhammed’s career as a prophet of God. Little is known of Muhammad during his later youth;
available information is fragmented, and it is difficult to separate history from legend. It is
known that he became a merchant and “was involved in trade between the Indian ocean and the
Mediterranean Sea.” Due to his upright character during this time, he acquired the nickname “al-
Amin,” meaning “faithful, trustworthy,” and “al-Sadiq,” meaning “truthful.”
Muhammad worked as a trader for Khadija, a widow, until he married her in 595 CE at the age
of 25. The marriage lasted for 25 years and was reported to be a happy one. Muhammad relied
upon Khadija and did not enter into a marriage with another woman during his first marriage.
After Khadija’s death, Khawla bint Hakim suggested that Muhammad that should marry Sawda
bint Zama, a Muslim widow, or Aisha, daughter of Um Ruman and Abu Bakr of Mecca.
Muhammad is said to have asked for arrangements to marry both.

Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was not
A prophet and messenger of Allah by born. Among His outstanding virtues and characteristics ,
He was an extraordinary Husband, a perfect Father , and a unique Grand Father. A role
model
Of humbleness Muslims believe that Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) is their role
model in all
Walks of Life.
Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was born around 570,AD in Mecca. His father died
before he was
Born and He was raised first by his grand father and then his uncle. He belonged to a
Poor but respectable family of the Quraish tribe. The family was active in Meccan
politics
and trade. In his early teens, Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) worked in a camel
caravan , following in
the footsteps of many people his age born of meager health. Working for His uncle , He
gained
experience in commercial trade travelling to Syria and eventually from the Mediterranean
Sea
to the Indian ocean. In time Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) earned a reputation as
honest and sincere
acquiring nickname al-Amin meaning faithful or trustworthy .
As role Model Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) The life of the Holy
Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him)
is a role model for every person of this world who believes in Allah and the Day of
Judgement.
As a prophet and messenger of Allah , His (Peace Be Upon Him) role and contributions
to the human society is
really incomparable with anyone. He (Peace Be Upon Him) was also a great statesman ,
judge, and spiritual leader. A Preceptor for all times means a true honest and a perfect
man who remains in the pages of history as a complete and exemplary personality
regarded by the Creator to be followed .
Allah Almighty says;
“ And we have not sent you ( O Muhammad (Peace Be Upon
Him) ) except as a giver of glad tidings and warner to all mankind, but most of men know
not “
Another place;
“ Say ( O Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) , O mankind!
Verily , I am sent to you all as the messenger of Allah “.
He (Peace Be Upon Him) organized the military system and participated in nine battles and
eighteen defensive expeditions. He (Peace Be Upon Him) ordered thirty-nine military
expeditions to go forward. He (Peace Be Upon Him) also appointed military commanders and
initiated the ways and rules of humanity during war.3 These rules included: never light farming
fields on fire, do not cut down any trees or harm nature, do not fight with those who are not
fighting back, and have respect for women, children, and the disabled, as well as, those who
were either against wars by their government or declared that they were not part of such wars
and closed the doors of their homes. The most important principles of war set by the Holy
Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) was to not disrespect the body of the dead enemy by running
them over with their horses and once an area was conquered, do not mistreat the captives or
prisoners of war by dragging them across the ground, hanging them from trees, or making them
undress. These basic principles can be seen in the contemporary international law, as well as, in
the municipal laws of various nations. The United Nations has also worked on such principles
and declared, at various levels, the same principles by different notifications regarding respect of
humanity or under the charter of human rights.
The world has seen lot of scholars, philosophers and preachers but no one as great as Holy
Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).Allah has sent his messenger in every period of
history to guide the humanity. The world has been waiting for last Prophet for centuries. This
long wait ended with Prophet hood Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). Hazrat
Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was born and died in the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal. He is an
embodiment of mercy for all mankind. All the prophet guided the humans. But Muhammad
(Peace Be Upon Him) brought a revolution in human lives. This revolution is example-less in the
history of mankind. Our love for Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) involves not only the devotion
and passion for him but to follow his deeds. There is no option left for us to follow his deeds and
teachings. The Quran and Sunnah are the basis of our religion. The Holy life style of Prophet
(Peace Be Upon Him) guides us in our individual and collective life. He stressed that Muslims
should have good behaviour with others. They should have good character also. It shows the
importance of character and behaviour in his teachings and deeds. Allah has ordered to obey the
Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). It is said in the Holy Quran that “the people who believe in
Allah should obey the Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) as well. They should not waste
their virtues. It means the obedience of Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) is the
obedience of Allah.
The life of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) is a role model for every person of this
world who believes in Allah and the Day of Judgment. This source of light and guidance (Peace
Be Upon Him) can lead us completely. The world has seen a lot of scholars, philosophers and
preachers but none was as great as the Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him). Allah sent
His messengers in every period of history to guide the humanity. The world had been waiting for
the last Prophet for centuries. This long wait was ended with the prophet hood of the Prophet
(Peace Be Upon Him). He was sent as the last Prophet of Allah Almighty. His Sharia was
regarded as the last message of Allah and the previous Sharia’s were abolished. His guidance
was declared sufficient for all till the end of this world. The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said,
“If Hazrat Musa had been alive he had no option but to follow me.” The prophet therefore used
soft language while appealing to people to accept Islam. He met people in their houses and at
business places to tell them about Islam, he gave examples that could convince his people that he
was sent by Allah.
Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) is the last Prophet of Allah. He is the role model for
every one who Believes in Allah and in the Day of Judgment. This source of Light and Guidance
can lead us completely. The world has seen a lot of scholars, Philosophers and preachers but
none was great as the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). Holy Prophet was able to change the
mind of the Arabian people who happens to be so barbaric during the Jahilia Period. Killing
Each other. They fought so many battles due to ethnicity, ignorance and land disputes which
usually last for decades. As he came in He was able to unite them. Change their focus so as to
love with one another as it was reported in one of his tradition that none of you is a true believer
unless he loves for his brother what he loves for himself. In the glorious Quran Allah the most
high says “ O mankind I have created you from a single male and female and then made you in
nations AMD tribes; So that you man know one another. None of you is greater than the other
except he who fears Allah the most. So I can categorically say that Prophet Muhammad (Peace
Be Upon Him) Is the role model and leader of all mankind.
The life of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) is a role model for every person of

Let us discuss some important events in the holy life of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be
Upon Him) that how His highness and majesty character built a noble state of Madina so some
events are enlisted below as,

4:Jihad
9. Event of Mubahala
(Holy Quran )
Islam is not a religion of war and fight rather it is a religion of love, truth, affection and all good
morals of life. It abstain us from sins and bad habits and lead us to good deeds and happy life.
Islam saves our life in both of the worlds. We should follow the golden principles of Islam and
Hadith of Holy Prophet Peace Be Upon Him only, then we shall succeed.
Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him led a simple life, which is the best example for all the people of
world. All the messengers came with this religion. All messengers taught the people the
knowledge of Islam. Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him taught Islam in effective and efficient
manner. He Peace Be Upon Him wore the clean clothes. These clothes were usually not in a
good condition, which depicted the simplicity of our beloved Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). He
(Peace be Upon him)was the leader of the Muslims and had all the power but He (Peace Be
Upon Him) did not avail any benefit from these powers. Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon
Him) possessed tolerance. At the time of conquest of Makkah. He (Peace Be Upon Him)
forgave all his enemies. He (Peace Be Upon Him) built up the Islamic Government in Median.
Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) possessed good manners and affection for all. He
(Peace Be Upon Him) emphasized on independence of slaves. In His Last Hajj, He (Peace Be
Upon Him) addressed the Muslims that no white was superior to black, but could be, depending
on deeds. The Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him)used to worship Almighty Allah in the cave of
Hira. He (Peace Be Upon Him) received first revelation of the Holy Quran in the cave of Hira.
That was about the importance of Knowledge, which is given below:
“Recite in the name of your Lord Who created, Created man from a clinging
substance.”( Al-Quran)
The English word "mosque" denotes a Muslim house of worship. The word evolved from the
Arabic term masjid, which means "place of prostration." During prayer, Muslims briefly kneel
and touch their foreheads to the ground as a sign of submission (literally, Islam) to the will of
God. The Prophet Muhammad's original house in Medina (in present-day Saudi Arabia) is
thought to be the first mosque and probably served as a model for early mosque architecture. It
was a mud-brick structure with living quarters on one side of an enclosed rectangular courtyard.
Since Muhammad's followers would gather at his home for prayer, the side of the courtyard
facing the Qibla, or the direction of prayer, included a porch covered by palm branches, which
offered shelter from the hot desert sun. Most early mosques, as well as the majority of later
mosques in Arab lands. Mosques reflect the size and needs of individual Muslim communities,
as their members all worship together on Fridays. Historically mosques have been at the center
of education and intellectual life.
“God has sent me to perfect good manners and to do good deeds.” (Bukhari)
The lines below discuss some major character traits of Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) that every
Muslim should spread as much as possible.
1. Mannerism:
Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) was the epitome of good manners. Every action that He
undertook in life represented the highest morals and manners that a person could exhibit. As
one of His companions notes about His manners:
“The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) did not swear at anyone, nor was He rude, nor did
He curse anyone. If He desired to reprimand someone, He would say: ‘What is wrong
with him, may dust be cast in his face!” (Bukhari)
2. Peace Lover:
Religion Islam itself is peace and Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) was a lover of peace. He
wanted people live in harmony and always encouraged people resolve their differences by
opting for peace, instead of going for violence and in one of His Hadith Prophet (Peace Be
Upon Him) said:
“Let us go to resolve the situation and make peace between them.” (Bukhari)
3. Kind to The Kids:
Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) always treated kids with kindness and mercy. One such example
can be seen from His life when He used to say to kids:
“I’ll give such and such (i.e. gift or so) to the one who comes to me first.”
So they used to race and fall on His back and chest.
4. . Generosity:
He was the most generous person there could ever be. He preferred others over Himself and
always fulfilled the needs of anyone who came to Him to ask for something. One of His
companion notes:
“The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) did not refuse to give anything which He had to
someone if he asked for it.” (Bukhari)
5. Concerned About Orphans:
Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) did not just love who were around Him, nor did He
only loved those who were related to Him, rather He considered the entire society and in society,
He was especially considerate of orphans and would commend His followers to take special care
of the orphans as they did not have parents to look after them and in one of His hadiths, He
said:
“The best house among the Muslims is one where an orphan is well treated, and the worst
house among the Muslims is one where an orphan is badly treated.” (Ibn-e- Majah)
6. Considerate
Whether it be animals, women, children, orphans, enemies, fellow Muslims, followers, elders, or
it be anyone in the society, for everyone of them Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was
considerate or He would love children and orphans, He would treat animals fairly, He would
give women their rights, He would respect the elders, He would provide what people asked of
Him, thus He was considerate to everyone without any discrimination and Prophet (Peace Be
Upon Him) said in a hadith:
“I stand up for prayer intending to prolong it. In the meantime I hear the wailing of a baby
and I have to shorten my prayer, being apprehensive lest my recitation of a long verse may
tell upon the baby’s mother.” (Bukhari)
7. General Appearance:
In His general appearance , Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) as beautiful,
pure, simple, gentle and yet so common as any other person could be. His general
appearance is detailed by one of His companions in the following way:
“The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) was a person of average height. His shoulder were
wide. His hair reached his earlobes. Once I saw Him adorned in a red garment; I never saw
anything more beautiful than Him.” (Bukhari)
8. Modesty:
Another striking personality attribute of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) is His
modesty and He was the modest of all and never encouraged any kind of vulgarity, rather He was
bashful and strongly encouraged modesty in His followers and in one of His hadiths, He said:
“Modesty is a part of teachings of the previous Prophets and anyone who lacks it is most
likely to do whatever he likes.” (Reported by Abdullah ibn Maslamah)
9. Animal Rights Activist:
Perhaps Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was the first animal rights activist on the face of this
earth who raised voice for the fair treatment of animal and He told people that animals were also
creation of Allah and they deserved to be treated fairly, instead of being harsh, strict and ignorant
towards them. Hazrat Aisha (RA) narrated:
“I once found difficulty in riding a horse, so I kept reining it in repeatedly. The Prophet
(Peace Be Upon Him) then said, ‘You must have gentleness.’” (Muslim)
Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) is the blessing for whole mankind. He is the last prophet of
ALLAH ALMIGHTY.
Close to one hundred verses of the holy Quran, directly or indirectly, support the doctrine of the
Finality of Prophet hood.
Verse 40 of the Surah Al-Ahzab (33), for instance, highlights this teaching in clear terms.
Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and
the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things.
(The Holy Quran, Al-Ahzab 33:40)
Many verses of the Holy Quran allude to the special wisdom bestowed on the Prophet
Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) to understand and explain the revelations included in the
Holy Quran. For example, in verse 4 of chapter 14 of the Quran, we read:
And We never sent a messenger save with the language of his folk, that
he [Hazrat Muhammad(SAW)] might make (the message) clear for them.
Then Allah sendeth whom He will astray, and guideth whom He will. He
is the Mighty, the Wise.
(The Holy Quran, Ibrahim 14:4)
As Holy Prophet ( Peace Be Upon Him) is the last prophet of ALLAH ALMIGHTY. ALLAH
has completed his religion (ISLAM) on HOLY Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).He is chosen as
the leader of all the messengers of ALLAH Almighty. Allah ALMIGHTY will never send any of
his messenger after HOLY Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).
As ALLAH ALMIGHTY mentions in the HOLY QURAN:
This day have I perfected your
religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your
religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, Allah is
indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.
Miʿrāj, in Islam, the ascension of the Prophet Muhammad into heaven. In this tradition,
Muhammad is prepared for his meeting with God by the archangels Jibrīl (Gabriel) and Mīkāl
(Michael) one evening while he is asleep in the Kaʿbah, the sacred shrine of Mecca.
They open up his body and purify his heart by removing all traces of error, doubt, idolatry,
and paganism and by filling it with wisdom and belief. In the earliest interpretations of the
Miʿrāj, the prophet is then transported by Jibrīl directly to the lowest heaven. But early in Islamic
history the story of the ascension came to be associated with the story of Muhammad’s night
journey (Isrāʾ) from the “sacred place of worship” (Mecca) to the “further place of worship”
(Jerusalem).
The two separate incidents were gradually combined so that chronologically the purification
of Muhammad in his sleep begins the sequence. He is then transported in a single night from
Mecca to Jerusalem by the winged mythical creature Burāq.
From Jerusalem, where the Dome of the Rock now stands, he is accompanied by Jibrīl to
heaven, ascending possibly by ladder or staircase (miʿrāj).
Miracles of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him):
In Islamic religious teachings, the Islamic Prophet Muhammad
(Peace Be Upon Him) is believed to have performed miracles during his lifetime. The teachings
stem from the teachings of Holy Quran, Hadith, and biographies of Islam. Holy Prophet miracles
encompass a broad range. This is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurrera (R.A), the Prophet (Peace
Be Upon Him) said,
“Every Prophet was given miracles because of which people believed, but what I have
been given (The Quran), is Divine Inspiration which Allah has revealed to me. So I hope
that my followers will outnumber the followers of the other Prophets on the day of
Judgement.”
(Sahi-Al-Bukhari)
Here, will discuss about some miracles of Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him);
Isra and Miraj:
Night journey of Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him),
“Glory be to him, who transported his Servant one night from the Majid-
Haram to Masjid Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, so that we might
show him some of our signs; the fact is that He alone is All-Hearing and All-seeing.”
Splitting of Moon:
Once disbelievers of Makkah asked messenger of Allah to prove his prophet hood
by showing them any sign regarding it. The Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) pointed
out his finger towards moon and it splitted up into two pieces.
The Holy Quran mentions it as under;
“The hour (of judgement) is drawing near, and the moon is cleft in two. Yet when they see
a sign (the disbelievers) turn their backs and say; Strong Magic.
Descending of angles during battles:
The number of angles, is probably not be taken literally, but to express a strength at least
equal to that of the enemy.
Allah Almighty says in Holy Quran;
“When you prayed to your lord for help. He answered; I am sending to your aid a
thousand angles in succession. “By this good news Allah sought to reassure your
hearts, for victory only comes from Allah; he is mighty, wise.”
Migration:
“And those who have migrated for the sake of Allah after they were oppressed, We shall
give them a good place in the word, and of course, the reward of the Hereafter is much
greater if they only knew!”
By the end of Makkan period, Holy Prophet(Peace Be Upon Him) lost two people who were
very dare to him. Those were his most affectionate uncle, Hazrat Abu Talib(A.S) and his faithful
and loving wife Hazrat Khadija (A.S). After their deaths, the Makkans felt free to do what they
wanted to impose with to Holy Prophet(Peace Be Upon Him) and his followers.
In many Makkah was the Kabbah (the holy Mosque), which was build by Prophet
Ibrahim(Peace Be Upon Him) centuries before a holy place to worship Allah , the one. But in the
course of time, the place had been converted by unbelievers to the worship objects other than
Allah ., People added many traditions to its by their own. They used to visit this place for a few
months in a year for pilgrimage. They came from all part of Arabia. The pilgrimage , inspite of
its religious bearing , constituted for the Arabs a yearly festival where people met and indulge in
their cultural activities. The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) took this opportunity to spread Islam.
Among those who were interested in his call, were group of people from Yathrib in the north
of Arabia. They met secretly with the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) and few Muslims
from Makkah in a village called ”Aqabah”. After becoming Muslims, they took an oath of
alligance to protect Islam, the Prophet and Makkahn Muslim.
The following year, the group of Muslims from Yathrib came again to Makkah. They met the
Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). This time Hazrat “Abbas bin Abu Mutlib” was also present .They
invited the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) and the Muslims from Makkah to migrate Yathrib. At
the end, Holy Prophet agreed to emigrate to new land.
Upon knowing that Muslims planned to leave Makkah, the Makkan unbelievers tried to
stop emigration but the first group had already migrated to Yahtrib. In this way furthure, they
migrated to Yahtrib after facing numerous difficulties. In Holy Quran its said that;
“You have excellent model in the Messenger of Allah, for all who put their hope in Allah
and the last day and remember Allah much.”
Fraternization:
After entrance in Madina an important step was taken by Holy Prophet(Peace Be Upon
Him) that was the fraternization of “Muhajireen” with the “Ansar” in the bonds of Islamic
brotherhood. He fraternised each Muhajir with an Ansar, joining them together as brothers in
faith. And he himself clasped the hands of his beloved cousin Ali bin Abi Talib(a) as the
supreme symbol of brotherhood, farernity and solidarity in the Islamic society.
Let us say some words that Allah the Exalted describes for them in Quran. As Follows;
“And as for the first and foremost of the Muhajireen and the Ansar, and those who
followed suit in good deeds; Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with him; and
He has prepared for them gardens watered by running streams, therein dwelling forever;
that is supreme triumph.”
Islamic State:
The other important event after the Hijra was the establishment of Islamic state and
Government by the Prophet, who by applying the gradual unfolding of divine commandments,
moulded the hitherto ignorant Arabs into a real Islamic society. Expounding the eternal miracle
of the Holy Quran and setting his own divinely inspired personality as practical example, he
firmly erected the pillars of justice and virtue. In short, Prophet Muhammad(Peace Be Upon
Him) presented the dark word seething under tyranny and oppression, the most perfect ever
constitution – spiritual, social and political and a key to their salvation both in this mortal life and
the hereafter.
“The hour will not be established till the sun rises from the West; and when it rises and the
people see it, they all will believe. And that is time when no good will it do to a soul to
believe then.”
The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) and his followers went back to a normal way of life. But the
years of hardship had made Khadijah very weak. She became ill and soon afterwards she died.
Thus, the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) lost his beloved Wife and friend, the first person to
accept Islam and support him. She had been a refuge from all his troubles and, through her good-
heartedness, the best company in his suffering. He had loved her very much. This happened in
619 A.D., the year which became known as the ‘Year of Sorrow’. Soon after this, the Prophet
Muhammad’s uncle and protector, Abu Talib, also died. Abu Talib had been one of the most
respected men In Mecca-one of the elders of Quraysh. Even though he had never been a follower
of Islam, he had protected the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) against his enemies. Not only was
this a sad occasion for the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) but also a dangerous one. According to
Arab custom anyone who is under the protection of another is safe so long as his protector lives.
Now, with the Death of his uncle, the Prophet’s protection was gone. The Prophet’s enemies
rejoiced to see him so sad, without a wife to Console and comfort him, and without his uncle to
protect him. They began to treat him worse than ever before. Even small children insulted Him.
One young man actually threw some filth on the Prophet’s head, but The Prophet (Peace Be
Upon Him) went home without making anything of it. When one Of his daughters rushed,
weeping, to wash it away, he comforted her Saying, ‘Do not weep my little girl, for Allah will
protect your father.’ Abu Talib had been the Prophet’s last tie with Quraysh and the Prophet
(Peace Be Upon Him) now felt that Islam could make no further progress in Mecca Because the
hearts of Quraysh were closed against him. He decided, Therefore, to travel to Ta’if where he
hoped to find support. He walked all The way to the town, which was seventy kilometers away.
There he spoke In all the places where people gathered, but no one listened to him. He Met the
leaders of the three most important tribes but they would not Listen either. Not only did they take
no notice of what he said, but they Laughed at him and ordered their slaves to insult him and pelt
him with Stones.
Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) is the last Prophet of Allah. His prophethood is sufficient for
all humanity up to the end of this world. No one will be blessed with prophethood and no
previous prophet will be followed. A person who accepts Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) a
prophet but not the last one, it is nothing but a refusal. The prophethood of the Holy Prophet has
two parts. Firstly, he is a prophet and secondly he is the last prophet of Allah Almighty. The
Quran has made it clear that the prophethood was started with Hazrat Adam and was ended with
the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). No prophet will come after Mohammad (Peace Be
Upon Him). It shows that his prophethood is universal. He is not the prophet of his age but he is
the prophet of every age. He should be obeyed in every age. Truth is forever. The modern
systems of making people slaves is useless. Islam guides people in every field of life. It is a
complete code of life. That’s why the non-believers are attacking the faith of Khatam-e-Nabuwat
and Namoos-e-Rasalat. They are using different tactics to degrade our faith. But the faithful
Muslims have great love for Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) in spite of all weaknesses. In
order to prevent these conspiracies, we should make laws and struggle on all levels. If we want
to get relief we should follow him. Anyone who wants to please Allah he should follow the
teachings of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). Sadly, the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him)
left the city and found a quiet place near a wall on the edge of town where he could be alone.
There he prayed to Allah in these words: “ O Allah, to Thee I complain of my weakness,
Helplessness and lowliness before men. 0 Most Merciful, Thou art the Lord of the weak, and
Thou art my Lord. To whom wouldst Thou leave My fate? To a stranger who insults me or to an
enemy to whom Thou hast given power over me? If Thou art not angry with me, I care not what
happens to me. Thy favor alone is my objective. I take refuge in the Light of Thy countenance by
which the darkness is illumined and on which this world and the other depend, lest Thy anger
descend upon me or Thy wrath light upon me. It is for Thee to be satisfied until Thou art well
pleased. There is no power and no might save through Thee.” The wall near which the Prophet
(Peace Be Upon Him) was sitting belonged to a garden owned by two brothers. When they heard
his prayer, they were very sorry for him and sent one of their slaves to him with a dish filled with
grapes. Before he began to eat, the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said 'Bismillah'-'In the Name
of Allah.' The servant, whose name was „Addas, was very surprised at these words, which he had
never heard before. 'By Allah', said „Addas, 'this is not the way the people of this country speak.'
'Then from what country do you come, 'Addas, and what is your religion?' asked the Prophet
(Peace Be Upon Him). 'I am a Christian from the Assyrian town of Nineveh', he replied. 'From
the town of that good man Jonah, son of Matta', added the Prophet 'How do you know about
him?' asked „Addas. 'He is my brother-he was a Prophet and I am a Prophet', answered the
Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him). „Addas bent down and kissed the Prophet's head, his
hands and his feet, because now he saw that he was truly a Prophet. The Prophet (Peace Be Upon
Him) then walked back to Mecca. He was now able to put up with everything patiently for he
knew that Allah would never leave him. His journey to Ta'if had not been in vain for „Addas, the
Christian, had become a Muslim, and this was to he the beginning of great changes.
“Fatima R.A. is a part of me, and he who makes her angry makes me angry.” (Sahih al-Bukhari)
It was his trustworthy character that acquired him the nickname al-Amin meaning
'faithful, trustworthy' and al-Sadiq meaning 'truthful Based on his personality, here are
some names that he is known and worshipped by:

4. Who has taught (the writing) by the pen [the first person to write was Prophet Idrees
(Enoch)],
5. Has taught man that which he knew not
These were the words of God (Allah) and were first preached by Muhammad to his family, then
to a few
friends, and then to the public at large.Throughout life, Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon
Him)treated His wives the way they should be treated. They were gratified by his presence,
tenderness, affection and the love he provided to them was second to none. Quran perfectly
encapsulates this virtue.
“And of His signs He created for you from yourself mates that you me find
tranquillity in them , and He placed between you affection and mercy , Indeed in that are
signs for a people who give thought”
His first wife Khadijah (R.A) was His source of emotional and spiritual comfort. It
was Khadijah (R.A) who instilled confidence in Him when He received the first revelation. It
was in Her that He sought support and strength throughout His quest in reforming the
society. His wife, Aisha (R.A) was the one He spent His last days with and throughout their
marriage, Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him ) treated Her in a very gentle and
romantic way. They played together, drank from the same spot on the cup, and constantly
exchanged sweet words to one another. Our Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him), over 1400 years
ago, had already taught the world the true value of women. Through Islam , He empowered
women and encouraged them to fulfil their maximum potential as righteous servants of
ALLAH. In this light, may we continue to honour the women around us through the tradition
of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
Three years after Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was sent as a Prophet, Allah
ordered him to call people to Islam in public. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) climbed
to the top of Safa mountain and called,
“Oh tribe of so-and-so, and such-and-such,” calling them by their different names in order for
the tribes to gather. All of them went to him, and if a person was not able to go, he sent a
messenger instead.
This is because the call came from one who was truthful and trustworthy. In such a way, all of
these people testified to the truthfulness of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and they
wanted to learn why he had called them all and what he had to say to them.
After they had all gathered, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said,
If I told you that behind this mountain is cavalry who wish to attack you, would you
believe me? related by Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
The people declared openly, “We have never heard you lie, even once.”
Allah is the Greatest… Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) made them establish the truth
by their own words, as the people testified, acknowledging with their own tongues, that Prophet
Muhammad (peace be upon him) was truthful and not a liar. They had lived with him for forty
years before he was sent as a Prophet, calling him by the nickname Al-Ameen (the truthful and
trustworthy one); they never heard him lie or be treacherous, or saw him act badly.
At that point, Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) proceeded to do what he was ordered to
do with regards to spreading the Message in public, so he said,
“I am a warner to you of a very severe torture (if you do not hold the proper belief).” In
reply, Abu Lahab replied, cursing Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) by saying,
“May you be cut off! Is this why you called us all?! related by Muslim.
The unbelievers of Quraish knew that Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) was truthful
This was truly the case as the unbelievers of Quraish knew, deep within themselves, that
Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) was truthful. In fact, they acknowledged that he was
so, but they did not believe in him for their own personal interests and desires

Think deeply about this situation. Even after Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) told
them that he was a Prophet, Abu Lahib’s reply was, “May you be cut off,” and he unashamedly
denied what Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) said! But the unbelievers of Quraish knew
deep down that Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) was truthful, in fact they
acknowledged this, but they did not believe in him for fear of their own personal interests and
desires.
Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) was very truthful. Those near and far from him have
testified to this, but the testimony of his Lord praising him is enough. He (Glorified is He) says:
And the one who has brought the truth and [they who] believed in it - those are the righteous.
Trustworthiness:
The Messenger of God (peace be upon him) was the embodiment of trustworthiness. The
Makkah called him ‘the Trustworthy One.’ Even after the declaration of his Prophet hood, they
continued to entrust their precious goods to him although they regarded him as an enemy.
He warned his people against lying, breaking one’s word and breach of trust. “Like
breaching a trust and breaking one’s word, lying was also, in his words, ‘a sign of
hypocrisy’.” (Abu Dawud, Adab, 80; I. Hanbal, 3.447)
He was so meticulous in this matter that once he saw a woman call her child saying, ‘Come on, I
will give you something! He asked her whether she would really give the child something. When
the woman replied that she would give him a date, the Messenger of God warned: If you were
not to give something, that would be a lie.
He was not only against deceiving humans, but even warned people against deceiving animals.
Once, annoyed at seeing one of his companions call his horse using deception, he said:
You should give up deceiving animals. You should be trustworthy even in your treatment
of them. (Bukhari, Iman, 24; Muslim, Iman, 107)
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was asked by one of his companions: “…Are we
rewarded for kindness towards animals?” Muhammad (peace be upon him) replied,
“There is a reward for kindness to every living being.” (Sahih al – Bukhari)
Hazrat Fatima (R,A) is the youngest daughter of Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) and is
greatly reversed by Muslims, often under the extended name Fatimah az-Zahra.
Hazrat Fatimah was – the radiant pearl of knowledge, of piety of virture.
Hazrat Fatima’s position was exceptionally distinct.
Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) stated about the Nature of lady Fatima:
“ Oh Fatima! Indeed God is angered for your anger and is pleased for your pleasures”.
History would forever record her profound wisdom and integrity.
Hazrat Fatimah’s sincerity and devotion to God was manifest for all to see.
Hazrat Fatima’s family is glorified by Muhammad frequently and he declared them as his Ahl-al-
Bayt in events such as Mubahala. They were also glorified in the Quran in several cases such as
the verse of Purificat.
Behaviour of Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) with Hazrat Aisha R.A :
Timely and appropriately-worded but gentle reprimands to an emotional wife go a long way in
maintaining the communication and cordiality in a marriage, preventing emotional distance and
coldness from coming in between the couple, which is what happens when the husband either
completely ignores his wife, or harshly scolds her, during one of her rants/mood swings.
Since Aisha, daughter of Abu Bakr was the only wife of Prophet Muhammad who was a child
when she entered into marriage with him, she was able to learn the most from him and go on to
narrate hundreds of valuable hadiths that have contributed significantly towards the branches of
However, because of her young age and lack of life experience, Aisha sometimes did or said
things that made her husband reprimand her. We all can learn from these incidents, because even
though most husbands nowadays do not have child brides, they do have wives who sometimes
When that happens, it is not uncommon to witness a variety of reactions from angry husbands:
some remain silent and aloof, going off somewhere to avoid their wife until she cools down.
Others explode in anger, shout at her, call her names, and finally tell her to keep quiet in a way
that makes her cry and feel very hurt for days.
And yet others, particularly older husbands who have been married for decades, just practice
‘playing deaf’ to their wives’ tirades and rants, letting them even misbehave or talk
unbecomingly, with them as well as others, in order to avoid shouldering the difficult
responsibility of disciplining her even when it is necessary and in fact obligatory for them to do
so in order to prevent her evil from adversely affecting others around her.
Below are a few incidents from the married life of Prophet Muhammad and Aisha that shed light
on how a husband should reprimand his wife, making sure that he keeps a just balance – between
angry outbursts that hurt her feelings, – and shying away from saying anything to her out of fear
Muslim men who have little experience of marriage desire to have multiple wives, only in order
to enjoy the variety of female sexual companionship that it’ll bring them, but are seldom mature
or prepared enough to deal with the tension and undercurrents of resentment that co-wives can
Once Aisha indicated, in front of Prophet Muhammad, that her co-wife Safiyyah was short in
stature. This is actually a very light comment, when compared to the kind of backbiting that goes
Regardless, the Prophet immediately reprimanded her by the use of these wise words:
You have said a word which would change the sea if it were mixed in it.” (Sunan Abu
Dawud) “
He neither stayed quiet to let the comment go, because the situation called for immediate
rectification, nor did he rebuke her more harshly than was necessary. He simply stated a fact in a
way that would make her reconsider ever making such a comment again.
The holy prophet saw used to worship almighty Allah in the cave of Hira. He saw received first
revelation of the Holy Quran in the cave of Hira. That was about the importance of knowledge,
which is given below:
“Recite in the name of your Lord who created, created man from a clinging substance.”
The Holy Prophet saw used to say. “he who goes forth in search of knowledge is in the way of
Allah till he returns.” He saw also said. “the seeking of knowledge is obligatory upon every
Muslim.”
By getting education, Muslim scientists made great progress in chemistry, medicine, science and
philosophy. They were the pioneers of education. In the history, the reign of Muslims were
recognized not by war but because of revolution in every field of life. Before the arrival of
prophet Muhammad saw, Arabs were cruel and uncivilized people. But after his preaching of
Islam, they became civilized nation and role model for other Muslims. He saw was very kind
humble and loving. He saw prayed for the people of Taif, who threw stones at him saw. He saw
helped the old lady in her illness who threw garbage over him saw.
Maria al-Qibtiyya
Maria al-Qibtiyya was an honorable and respectable woman who only spent three years of her
life with the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). She was known to be a beautiful, kind hearted
and charitable woman who stayed loyal to the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) even after his
demise – as she did not marry ever again. Unlike the other wives of the Prophet (Peace Be Upon
Him) who lived around the mosque, the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) gave Maria al-
Qibtiyya a residence in the outskirts of Madina which is known to us today as Mashrabat Umm
Ibrahim. By the grace of Allah Almighty, Maria al-Qibtiyya gave birth to a beautiful baby boy
after her marriage to the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). As she was previously a slave girl,
Maria al-Qibtiyya’s status as the Prophet’s (Peace Be Upon Him) wife remained disputable
initially. The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) too was ecstatic upon hearing the news of a son and
named him Ibrahim, after the ancestor of Islam. Ibrahim’s birth was celebrated by giving away
grains to the poor and needy of Madina. And the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) visited the
house of Maria al-Qibtiyya every day after the birth of his son and took care of him and loved
him like any great father would. The joy that Ibrahim’s birth brought to the Prophet (Peace Be
Upon Him) and his wife did not last very long. For soon Ibrahim fell seriously ill and was taken
care off by his mother and aunt Sirin. With each passing day, his condition worsened and when it
became evident that he would not survive, the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) was called. The
Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) held Ibrahim in his arms as he took his last breaths and let him go
as a will of God Almighty. The death of Ibrahim was a great loss for both the Prophet (Peace Be
Upon Him) and his wife, who loved the child dearly.
Muhammad (Arabic: ُم َح َّمد, pronounced [muˈħammad]; c. 570 CE – 8 June 632 CE) was
an Arab religious, social, and political leader and the founder of Islam. According to Islamic
doctrine, he was a prophet, sent to preach and confirm the monotheistic teachings
of Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and other prophets. He is believed to be the final
prophet of God in all the main branches of Islam, though some modern denominations diverge
from this belief. Muhammad united Arabia into a single Muslim polity, with the Quran as well as
his teachings and practices forming the basis of Islamic religious belief. At age 40, he began to
have revelations from Allah that became the basis for the Quran and the foundation of Islam. By
630 he had unified most of Arabia under a single religion. As of 2015, there are over 1.8 billion
Muslims in the world who profess, “There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is his prophet.”
Maymunah bint al-Harith al-Hilaliyah (Arabic: ارث ْٱل ِهاَل لِيَّة
ِ َم ْي ُمونَة بِ ْنت ٱلَ َح, romanized: Maymūnah
ibnat al-Ḥārith al-Hilālīyah; c. 594–673) was a wife of Muhammad. Her original name
was Barrah (Arabic: )بَرَّة, but Muhammad changed it to Maymunah, meaning "good tidings", as
his marriage to her marked the first time in seven years when he could enter his hometown of
Mecca. She married Muhammad in 629 in Sarif, about ten miles from Mecca, just after
the Lesser Pilgrimage. She was in her late 30s when she married him. Hazrat Maymuna's death
date is controversial. According to Al-Tabari: "Maymuna died in the year 61 A.H. [680-681]
during the caliphate of Yazid I. She was the last of the wives of the Prophet to die, and her age
was then 80 or 81." However, Al-Tabari asserts elsewhere that Umm Salama outlived Maymuna.
Ibn Hajar also cites a tradition implying that Maymuna predeceased Aisha. "We stood on the
walls of Medina, looking out … [Aisha said]: 'By Allah! Maymuna is no more! She has gone,
and you are left free to do whatever you like. She was the most pious of all of us and the most
devoted to her relatives.'" Aisha (RA) said about her, “Among us, she had the most fear of Allah
and did the most to maintain ties of kinship.” Aisha (RA) also narrated that “Maimunah (RA)
was the most virtuous and God-fearing and most considerate in treating her relatives well.
Hazrat Hafsa bint Umar “Umm ul-Mumineen’’ was one of the few lucky individuals to have
grown up in a purely religious environment. Her father Hazrat Umar bin Khattab (RA) was a
staunch believer and her aunts and uncles too believed in the message of Islam and as a result,
she grew up with strong religious beliefs.
Prior to her marriage with the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him), Hazrat Hafsa (RA) was
married to Khunais bin Hazafa Sahmi, who was also one of the earlier Muslims and was also one
of the men who fought in the Battle of Badr; he endured many injuries and later succumbed to
the wounds and lost his life.
She was only 18 years of age when she lost her husband and naturally Hazrat Umar bin Khattab
(RA) feared for her safety and wanted to find her a suitable husband soon. At the time of her
marriage to the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him), Hazrat Aisha (RA) and Hazrat Sawda (RA) were
already the wives of the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).
Hazrat Hafsa bint Umar was a devoted Muslim and a pious woman. She spent her days reciting
the Quran; she also kept fasts during the day and spent her nights in the remembrance of Allah
and praying to the Lord Almighty. Although she was a pious woman and a staunch believer, she
had a strong personality and was also rather inquisitive. In one such event where she showcased
her strong personality, it is reported that the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) divorced Hazrat
Hafsa (RA) but had to take the divorce back because Allah sent the angel Jibril who reminded
the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) of her devotion to Allah and of her pious nature;
O’Allah’s Messenger! Did you divorce Hafsa (R.A), who is very pious and her devotion to
prayers I great and she always observes fasts, she is one of the wives of him in paradise.
Hazrat Hafsa(R.A) was the rightful custodian of the original prototype copy of the Holy Quran,
compiled by Hazrat Zaid bin Thabit under orders of first Caliph Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq(R.A)
and as she was one of the few women who could read or write at the time and so she was
entrusted with the verses of the Quran..
Hazrat Hafsa (R.A) died in 45 Hijra at the age of 61 years and was observing fast when she died.
She had narrated about 60 ‘Ahadith’ and had lived with the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) for 8
years. She had spent her life as a pious, noble and charitable woman and we too should aspire to
follow in her footsteps.
Your right, then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your
women well and be kind to them for they are your partners And committed helpers. And
it is your right that they do not make friends With anyone of whom you do not approve,
as well as never to be unchaste. O People, listen to me in earnest, worship Allah, offer
your five daily Prayers, fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your wealth in
Zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to. All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab
has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also
a white has no Superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over a white
Except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to Every Muslim
and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing Shall be legitimate to a Muslim
which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it Was given freely and willingly. Do not
therefore do injustice to yourselves. Remember one day you will meet Allah and answer
your deeds. So Beware: do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.O
People, no prophet or apostle will come after me, and no new faith will Be born. Reason
well, therefore, O People, and understand my words Which I convey to you. I leave
behind me two things, the Qur’an and my Sunnah and if you follow these you will never
go astray. All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to Others
again; and may the last ones understand my words better than Those who listen to me
directly. Be my witness, O Allah, that I have Conveyed your message to your people.”

In a Hadis Allah says to Hazarat Adam “I Muhammad would not be created you also not be
created”. Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) is the person who encompasses all the good
qualities in his personality, as Hazrat Ayesha (R.A) wife of Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him)
narrated, “Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) is the living example of Quran, he is an
embodiment of Quran.” He is the last prophet. He was born in Makah in the year 570. Before the
birth of Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) people in Arab was completely indulged in every
kind of malevolent activities, darkness was prevailing, whole Arab was affected by the vices of
humankind, then there came the time when a ray of hope emerged with the birth of Prophet
Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). Due to his chivalry, Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) became
very popular in the city of Makkah, people used to call him honest because of his pious
character, when he reached the age of 40 first revelation of Quran was sent to him in Gar-e-Hira,
the angel Gabriel brought a message from the Creator which is mentioned in Surah Iqra, “Read
with the name of thy Lord, Who created you Read.”
After the advent of Islam, Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) started preaching the
people of Mecca as well as others in Arab. He became a source of light for the people who were
lost in immense darkness and chaos. He acted as a savior and a preacher of Islam, but things
were not easy for him. Our beloved Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) had to face many troubles,
trials, and tribulations. His life was filled with a lot of calamities and chaos, he was at first
betrayed and stabbed by his own people and family but he endured everything just for the sake of
his Ummah. At present one-fifth of the people of the world are the followers of this great and
noble prophet.
All Muslims are grateful to him for his achievements. In the modern world, everyone wants
peace in their life; people are working like machines to gain success, fame, and money. Many
famous figures recognized him as an important person in the history of mankind. For having
peace in life one has to follow golden principals of Islam set forth by the best Teacher, Preacher
or Mentor of this world, our Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). He made Muslims
brothers of one another, built a great nation and powerful state.
Now that I have explained all necessary condition of prophet -hood it will not be out of place to
give in short sentences. Some proofs of the divine origin of the prophet-hood of the Holy Prophet
of Islam Muhammad Mustafa (Peace Be Upon Him)..
Everybody knows that Prophet Muhammad Mustafa Claimed to be the Prophet from Allah and
he showed miracles in support of the claims. It proves that his claims was rright Now his proof
can be multiplied by 4000 mentioning each Mojiza Separately. Therefore, this one proof is
potentially 4000 proves.
The person being spoken of in the above paragraph is none other than Prophet Muhammad
(Peace Be Upon Him), whose stature in mankind’s history remains unparalleled even to this day.
His life is a beacon of light for the pious and God-fearing. In order to fully grasp and
comprehend how an orphan rose to become the greatest benefactor of mankind, we need to study
and focus on some of the primary lessons that can be derived from his immaculate life.
The Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) was extremely honest and trustworthy in his day-to-day
affairs. When he left on a trade journey, his female employer at the time Hazrat Khadija (R.A)
sent another employee to accompany the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) to observe the way
he dealt her goods. His findings indicated that Khadija’s (R.A) business was being handled by
the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) with utmost diligence and sincerity. Upon return, the Prophet
Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) came bearing handsome profits on account of his honest
dealings. This unique characteristic of Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) impressed her so
much that later on she sent him a proposal of marriage which ultimately Prophet Muhammad
(Peace Be Upon Him) accepted.
Before that miraculous night when the Holy Prophet (Peace B3 Upon Him) was appointed as the
final Messenger, the whole city of Makkah called him by the worthy names of Al-Sadiq, Al-
Amin (The Honest, The Trustworthy). This not only placed the people’s firm belief and trust in
him but when he finally began to preach the religion of God, people adhered to his attestations.
The Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) was a man of high spirits and lofty character. One if his
sayings are, “Even a smile can be charity.” He was always respectful of the old, caring towards
the weak and loving towards the children. His wives and daughters took great joy in his company
as did his companions. He used to spread a sheet of cloth in respect for his daughter Fatima
(R.A) and foster mother Halima Saadia (R.A) every time they paid him a visit. The Prophet
(Peace Be Upon Him) was known not to decline anyone’s request for anything at any time.
Muslims are fortunate to have a role model and perfect guide in the form of the Holy Prophet
Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). Achieving the same level of success that he did is impossible
but the purpose of his life was for us to study, learn and implement his virtues in order to succeed
in this life and the afterlife.
In conclusion, Islam is entirely a religion of peace that guarantees the peace and security of the
society. War strategy of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) is nothing but striving in the
way of Allah with arms against all internal or external factors which could cause the rumpus of
the peace, harmony, serenity, tranquility, and security of the society. Jihad in Islam does not
include striving for individual or national power, dominance, glory, wealth, prestige or pride. It
is just a struggle for the betterment of the humanity and a tool to safeguard the peace and security
of the society against the all kinds of insidious factors or forces causing tumult and turmoil in the
society. The entire life-struggle of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) gives the message to
all human beings that we should live in this world (the global village) with peace and justice and
try our best to fight against, if there is any factor or force creating injustice and fracas in our
world.
The mission of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was to free people from tyranny
and exploitation by oppressive systems. Once free, individuals in the society were then free to
chose Islam or not. Prophet Muhammad's (Peace be upon him) successors continued in his
footsteps and went to help oppressed people. Islam rightly recognizes the rights of all the
humanity and supports the co-existence of world religions. A Christian missionary, T. W.
Arnold, writes about the peaceful policy of Islam about the co-existence of the religions and
shows a glimpse of history as follows:
“…….of any organized attempt to force the acceptance of Islam on the non-Muslim population,
or of any systematic persecution intended to stamp out the Christian religion, we hear nothing.
Had the caliphs chosen to adopt either course of action, they might have swept away Christianity
as easily as Ferdinand and Isabella drove Islam out of Spain, or Louis XIV made Protestantism
penal in France, or the Jews were kept out of England for 350 years. The Eastern Churches in
Asia were entirely cut off from communion with the rest of Christendom throughout which no
one would have been found to lift a finger on their behalf, as heretical communions. So that, the
very survival of these churches to the present day, is a strong proof of the generally tolerant
attitude of Mohammedan governments towards them.”
