Hi Luke,

I’m having a great time in Cornwall this summer. I’m staying with my cousins, Lisa and
Andy. They live near a beautiful sandy beach.

We go to the beach every day. We usually go surfing. I haven’t got a surfboard, but I use
one of Andy’s. He’s got two. Andy can surf really well. I’m learning to surf at the moment
so I’m not very good. I usually stand up for about ten seconds and then I dive into the
water!

We’re at the beach at the moment but I’m not surfing today because I’m tired. I’m
relaxing in the sun and writing this email. Lisa is listening to her mp3 player and Andy is
sleeping. My aunt is reading a magazine and my uncle is at the beach café. He’s buying
ice creams for us. Are you having a good holiday?
