Conspiracy theories
spaceship: a vehicle that travels in space
studio: a room where people make films, radio and television programmes or records
instrument: a thing that you use for doing a special job
aluminum: a light, silver-coloured metal
foil: thin metal paper that is used for covering food

candle: a round stick of WAX (= solid oil or fat) with a piece of string in the middle
(called a wick) that burns to give light
lightning rod: a long straight piece of metal or wire leading from the highest part of a
building to the ground, put there to prevent lightning damaging the building
tax: money that you have to pay to the government.
independent: not controlled by another person, thing or country
constitution: the laws of a country, a state or an organization

life expectancy: the number of years that a person is likely to live
measure: to find the size, weight or amount of somebody or something
score: the number of points, goals, etc. that you win in a game or competition
resource: something that a person, an organization or a country has and can use
necessity: something that you must have
ladder: a thing that you climb up when you want to reach a high place.
