This kit contains all the equipment
required to test from source the complete
pitot and static air data system on the
Avro RJ85 aircraft, as well as the means
of pre-testing all adaptors and hoses prior
to being fitted to the aircraft.
Pitot Adaptor
Part No. P14600-4 (2 req'd.)
These units fit the pitot probes 853JE
located on each side of the aircraft and
when installed they will isolate and test
each system separately or
simultaneously
Pre-Test Probe
Part No. PT11460 (2 req'd.)
When it becomes necessary to test the
integrity of the pitot adaptors and/or
hoses and test set, these units are
installed into the pitot adaptors thus
simulating the pitot head.
Static Test Adaptor
Part No. 21298M2-182-4 (3 req'd.)
These units fit the A.S.I. static ports
positions S1, S2 & S3 on the aircraft
nose.
N.B. Attach hoses to unit before installing
on aircraft.
Static Blanking Adaptor
Part No. 21298M2-182B (3 req'd.)
These units are used in conjunction with
static test adaptors - P/N 21298M2-182-4
and are used to blank off the matching
static vents on the opposite side of the
aircraft.

Static Test Adaptor
Part No. SS88146-4 (1 req'd.)
This unit fits the static ports at approx.
frame 27 on fuselage.
N.B. Attach hoses to unit before installing
on aircraft.
Static Blanking Adaptor
Part No. SS88146B (1 req'd.)
This unit is used in conjunction with static
test adaptor SS88146-4 and is used to
blank off the matching static vents on the
opposite side of the aircraft.
Pitot Test Hose Assembly -
Part No. RJ85-7270 (1 req'd.)
This hose is connected to the pitot inlet of
the adaptors and is fitted with double
acting quick disconnects for use when it
is desirable to test only one pitot system.
The connection to the pitot outlet of the
pneumatic generator is included on this
assembly.
Static Hose Assembly
Part No. RJ85-5160 (1 req'd.)
This assembly is fitted with double acting
quick disconnects which operate in the
same manner as that on the pitot hose
assembly. The extension hose then
connects to the static outlet of the
pneumatic generator.
