What is the relationship of cause and consequences to trends?


An example of this is, a coffee shop observed a decrease in sales.
They use causal research to determine the underlying cause of this
decrease . They implemented an online survey and found out that
customers refuse to visit their shop and buy their products because of
poor customer service and lousy coffee taste. After identifying these
causes, they trained their employees to improve their customer service
and invested in high-quality coffee beans to make great coffees. The
coffee shop noticed a significant increase in customer satisfaction and
loyalty, thus increasing sales.
