Research is a way (systematic/plan/process) to answer a question by doing collecting data, analyze

and investigate.

Question can be

- New knowledge
- Confirm existing knowledge

There are 4 types of research

1. Qualitative – analyze the words/meaning/opinion


2. Quantitative – analyze the statistic calculation
3. Applied – to find solution to a problem not to acquire new knowledge and how to apply the
knowledge
4. Basic – to expand/add knowledge and does not consider how to apply the new theories but
the understanding of the theories

Data Collection Method

1. Interview
Question for the interview is based on the theories that available and it became interview
guide.
There are 3 types of interviews
o Structured

All the question has been prepared and do not ask outside the prepared question.

Open
o
Only write the item needed and ask (improve) onsite, could ask freely.
o Semi-structured
The mix of structured and open
2. Questionaire

Analysis

After doing the interview, researcher will do content analysis to identify is there anything that match
with our listing. Based on the analysis it can be used to answer the question.

Anotation is making a note of explanation from the translation object. You need to find 35
sentences which is 10.000 words. You need to write:
