Sun gleams through the blinds of the window. Bright
atmosphere. Sarah, sits on a stool behind a canvas, painting
apron on, seemingly painting a portrait of her boyfriend
Kevin, funny, gentle, down to earth.
Shots of them giggling, having fun. They playfully argue
with eachother
KEVIN
Are you done yet? When can I see?
SARAH
Maybe if you didn’t move so much I would
be finished already!
KEVIN
Cmon just let me see already.
SARAH
Stop moving so much!
They laugh. Audio fades out, shot cuts.
CUT TO: split shots
INT. BEDROOM. MORNING
An alarm goes off. 7AM. Sarah tiredly wakes up. She picks up
her phone to see a text from Kevin. It reads “goodmorning
sweatheart”
Sarah smiles, suddenly full of energy, and gets out of bed.
CUT TO:
EXT. SIDE STREET. DAY
Sarah walks to school, happily texting her bf.
-Trucking shot, camera on road, sarah on sidewalk-
CUT TO:
EXT. BUSY ROAD, ACROSS SCHOOL. DAY
Sarah approaches the cross road, and presses the walk
button. She looks across the street to see Kevin, waiting
for her like he always does. Kevin looks up and notices
Sarah, he smiles and waves. Sarah returns the smile.
Cut to a shot of them walking towards the school, holding
hands.
CUT TO:
INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY. DAY
Sarah is opening her locker. She opens it to find a paper
handmade flower, from Kevin. She smiles lovingly.
CUT TO: Flashback of her painting the portrait of Kevin,
laughing, having a good time.
CUT TO:
INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY. END OF SCHOOL DAY
Shot of a clock showing that it is 3 o’clock and school is
over.
Sarah waits for Kevin in their usual spot. He doesn’t
arrive. Sarah decides to walk around the school to look for
him.
She enters the courtyard. Suddenly her eyes dart to Kevin
standing and talking with MARY, preppy, cute, flirty. They
seem close.
Sarah thinks to herself, why is he making her laugh so much.
Kevin waves goodbye to Mary and see’s Sarah waiting for him.
Cut to a shot of them walking home together (long shot).
EXT. SIDE STREET. DAY
Sarah walks home from school, happy.

INT. BEDROOM. MORNING
An alarm goes off. 7AM. Sarah tiredly wakes up. She picks up
her phone to see a text from Kevin. It reads “morning.”
Sarah looks displeased, she gets out of bed.
CUT TO:
EXT. SIDE STREET. DAY
Sarah walks to school, pondering to herself.
-Trucking shot, camera on road, sarah on sidewalk-
CUT TO:
EXT. BUSY ROAD, ACROSS SCHOOL. DAY
Sarah approaches the cross road, and presses the walk
button. She looks across the street to see Kevin, smiling
and talking with Mary. A look of jealousy washes across
Sarah’s face. Kevin doesn’t even look at Sarah.
CUT TO:
INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY. DAY
Sarah is opening her locker. She opens it to find nothing.
CUT TO:
INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY. END OF SCHOOL DAY
Sarah stands in their usual spot, nervously waiting. She
checks her phone and texts Kevin “where are you, are we
still leaving tgt?”
She gets fed up of waiting and leaves.
Sarah see’s Kevin and Mary standing together in the
courtyard.
CUT TO.
EXT. SIDE STREET. DAY
Sarah walks home from school, unhappy. Sarah stops and
screams in frustration (no sound).

INT. BEDROOM. MORNING
An alarm goes off. 7AM. Sarah tiredly wakes up. She picks up
her phone to see no text.
Sarah depressingly gets out of bed.
CUT TO:
EXT. SIDE STREET. DAY
Sarah walks to school, blank face, disassociated.
-Trucking shot, camera on road, Sarah on sidewalk-
CUT TO:
EXT. BUSY ROAD, ACROSS SCHOOL. DAY
Sarah approaches the cross road, and presses the walk
button. She looks across the street to see Kevin, smiling
and talking with Mary. Sarah is angry (not showing on her
face, but within her eyes). She sees Kevin and Mary walk
into school together.
CUT TO:
INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY. DAY
Sarah is opening her locker. She opens it to find nothing.
She’s upset.
CUT TO:
INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY. DAY
Sarah stands in their usual spot, nervously waiting. She
gets fed up and leaves.
She exits into the school courtyard to see Kevin and Mary
standing together. They are laughing and acting very close.
Close up on Sarah, furious (in the eyes). Jealousy, rage,
full of vengeance.
Cut back to a shot of Kevin and Mary, Mary grabs his hand,
and Kevin pulls her in for a hug. They walk away together,
hand in hand.
Cut back to close up of Sarah, eyes full of vengeance.

CUT TO:
INT. CLASSROOM. ALMOST END OF DAY
Kevin sits at a desk and texts Mary. “hello?” We can see
many messages from before of them talking, before he asked
her if she wants to meet up after school.
CUT TO.
INT. BEHIND SCHOOL. END OF DAY.
Shot of Sarah swinging something violently at the camera
(pov shot of mary)
Cut to her rolling up Mary in a blanket. Sarah struggles to
pick her dead body up, but eventually she throws her in the
school dumpster.
CUT TO.
INT. LIVING ROOM. EVENING (almost dark)
Sarah paints on a canvas, content with herself.
CUT TO. NEXT DAY(weekend)
INT. FRONT DOOR HOUSE. DAY
Sarah waits,, excitedly getting ready to see her boyfriend.
A knock at the front door is heard. Sarah opens it to see
Kevin waiting for her. She smiles.
*In this scene no audio is heard, but the dialogue will be
clear to the audience.
Sarah “Hey!”
Kevin “Can we talk”
Sarah “Of course come in”
Kevin resists “Listen we should talk”
Sarah confused “Whats going on”
Kevin “We need to break up, I don’t wanna be with you
anymore”

Follows are frantic arguing, Sarah visibly upset, etc. Kevin
is fed up and leaves. Close up on the door closing on
Sarah’s face, she has a disassociated look on her face.
Cut to a shot inside, Sarah stands in front of the door.
(side profile, mid shot)
Cut to a close up, straight on Sarah’s face, blank face,
eyes full of vengeance.
CUT TO.
INT. LIVING ROOM. NIGHT.
Sarah paints on a canvas, disassociated. Her eyes are blank,
Sarah in content with herself.
Sarah looks at her brush and notices no more paint. She them
bends over all the way to the ground, and dips her brush in
a pool of blood. Kevin’s limp hand is seen right next to it.
