S-2: Geometrical construction

1. Draw a line AB with length of 100 mm long and bisect it.

2. With center ‘O’ and radius equal to 50 mm, draw two arcs of any lengths on opposite sides of
‘O’. Bisect the two arcs and produce the bisectors till they meet.
3. Draw two-line segments AB and BC with an angle between them as 30° and bisect the angle
between them.
4. Divide a given line of 100 mm into seven equal parts.
5. Draw a 50 mm diameter circle with center as ‘O’ and divide it into 12 equal parts
6. Draw two perpendicular lines AB and BC and trisect the angle between them.
7. Draw an equilateral triangle of side length 100 mm.
8. Construct a square with side length of 100 mm.
9. Draw a regular heptagon of side length 50 mm using general method.
10. Draw a circle with O as center and radius of 60 mm and draw a tangent to the circle through a
point P on the circle OP makes 45o with horizontal.
11. Draw a circle with O as center and radius of 60 mm and draw a tangent to the circle through a
point P, where OP is 100 mm makes 30o with horizontal.
12. Draw regular pentagon and hexagon with side of 50 mm.
