Kalayaan. Kinabukasan. Kasaysayan: Government Agencies Converge,

Empowering Filipinos with Job Opportunities and Accessible Services!
Cagayan de Oro City – Regional Conciliation and Mediation Branch X (RCMB X),
represented by its Branch Director, Atty. Ligaya Lumbay enthusiastically partook in
the momentous 125th Philippine Independence Day Celebration - Kalayaan Job Fair
Opening Ceremony held on June 12, 2023, at SM CDO Downtown Premier.

This year's 125th Philippine Independence Day Celebration - Kalayaan Job Fair
revolved around the theme "Kalayaan. Kinabukasan. Kasaysayan." This theme
perfectly encapsulated the essence of the event, emphasizing the intertwined
concepts of freedom, the future, and history. It served as a reminder of the
substantial role that independence plays in shaping the nation's trajectory, also the
joint responsibility to build a more promising future while relishing our nation's past.

Meanwhile, RCMB X, in collaboration with DOLE-X (Department of Labor and

Employment - Region X) and other government agencies, actively participated in a
One-Stop Shop of government services during the festivity. This endeavor
showcased the government's relentless commitment to providing convenient access
to a wide range of vital services for the public. The Government's One-Stop Shop
concept aims to facilitate bureaucratic processes and enable individuals to access
multiple government services in one location, making this more convenient and
efficient for the public.
By converging various government agencies and services, the One-Stop Shop
provided a comprehensive and integrated approach to meeting the needs of the
public. RCMB X, in particular, played a crucial role by offering information and
assistance related to labor disputes and mediation services, The Branch Director,
Atty. Ligaya Lumbay and Team RCMB X were on hand to provide guidance and
support to the public and also give away IEC materials that introduce the agency's
programs to the people.

The participation of RCMB X, in collaboration with DOLE X and other government

agencies, in the Kalayaan Job Fair One-Stop Shop during the Independence Day
Celebration exemplifies their tireless dedication to public service and the devotion to
enabling access to essential government services. Their collective efforts aimed to
empower individuals, improve their employability, and handle their various needs
cohesively and efficiently.

RCMB X extends its sincere appreciation to DOLE X for successfully organizing this
remarkable event and looks forward to future collaborations that boost economic
growth, social progress, and the empowerment of the Filipino people. Jointly, they
strive to build a stronger nation founded on principles of freedom, inclusivity and
