The vampires wish

I wish, I wish for drinking water,

Yet blood attracts, a desire so strong,
Her neck, a glance, makes me thirsty.
For the red drops, I crave no mercy,
But the thirst decreases once I'm fed.

I wish, I wish humans weren’t so naïve,

In a vampire’s heart, secrets lie untold,
Eternal nightmare, a knowledge we both retrieve,
But a touch from me brings endless sorrow,
For I can’t face you, the sun's radiant glow.

A knock, a kiss, a knife, a possible kill,

Fangs sink deep where moonlight gleams,
The woman walks down the street so still,
Unaware of the silent steps, as if,
She is unaware of the danger.

I wish, I wish she knew the truth

That immortals collect bodies, evidence of Ruth,
My words, like venom, pierce her weak mind,
She’s a prize, a trophy, a dark find,
When I bite you your life becomes part of my collection.

In the dark moments, wishes untold,

A chilling tale that makes your Goosebumps hold,
The vampire’s hunger, dark and mysterious,
Bodies collected, a haunting tale,
Beware of the nightmare that cannot be controlled.
