How to Measure Correctly

Using your measuring tool (a ruler) place the


0cm end on the edge of what you are measuring.
Keep the ruler straight. Look along the ruler to
the end of the object. The number on the ruler at
this point tells you how long the object is.
Important Note: Make sure you select the appropriate length
measuring object.

Part 2:
Scavenger Hunt Challenge

For this Scavenger Hunt, you need to find 5 things around your
classroom that you think are around a certain length. You will first
estimate how long they are and then measure them.
