Objective:

To qualify the Vernier caliper manufactured by China, for use in precision measurement of external, internal,
depth and step modes measurement for quality control.

Scope:

The scope of this report is limited to Vernier caliper

Safety Test
The instrument confirms to the following standards and is supplied fully tested by the manufacturer
BS EN 61326:2006- Electrical equipment for measurement, control and laboratory use -EMC
requirements.
BS EN 61010 part 2-010:2003- Safety requirements for electrical equipment for measurement, control
and laboratory use- particular requirements for laboratory equipment for the heating of material.

The following electrical safety tests should also be carried out by a competent person after installation
