Submission Deadline
The deadline for submission is 2pm on Monday 15th April 2024.
Task
You are going to write a report based on primary research and secondary research on a
topic area of your choice. Your topic should be from one of your subject units on the IFP.
You will also need to complete the cover sheet with details of your engagement with the
feedback. This will contribute to grading of the engagement with feedback and redrafting
bullet point (see Task Fulfilment and Content column on IMRD criteria document).
Task Instructions
Preparation
• Select your topic area from one of your subject units
• Agree your research question with your tutor and peers
• Select your sources to inform your secondary research
• Create a questionnaire to inform your primary research
- Discussion
- Conclusion (may be included in the Discussion section)
- References
- Appendices (if necessary)
While you may share reading and listening texts with your peers to inform your secondary
research, you will create your own research question and conduct primary research
individually.
There is a leeway of 10% more or 10% less on word counts. So, the maximum you can write is 2,200

The word count on unit assessments includes the assignment title and any subheadings, the
abstract and all the main text including tables, figure captions and citations.
The word count excludes the reference list, appendices, graphs and images, and
declarations (e.g., cover sheet, assessment criteria sheet).
