Question 4: E-mail Response

From: Chip Aspen < shipping@goodwoods.co.za

To: Sally Spruce <sally.spruce@fantasticfurniture.co.za
Date: 18 August 2022
Subject: Apology for the order FF475

Greetings Sally Spruce

After reading your email, we are sorry to hear about the lateness of the delivery of your
package. I would like to address some of the concerns you raised in your email.

1. Because the wood is stored in a cargo warehouse the wood does tend to warp
because of these occasions we include nylon paper in our package because using
nylon paper, a wet towel, and a brick of the warped wood's side can help restore
the wood to its natural shape

2. Wood is a sensitive material that cracks readily. If the cracks are small, shoe
polish may help fix the cracks, but if they're large, nylon paper can assist in
repairing them.

3. The type of wood you ordered is often stained in dark stains, but you can change
that by rubbing the wood firmly and evenly along the grain with a clean cloth
dipped in mineral spirits. The stain won't be removed, just lightened.

We regret to learn that your company's manufacturing has been delayed as a result of
the wood's flaws. We promise that you will receive the correct wood without any defects
We want to restore your faith in our company.

Sincerely
Chip Aspen
Manager of Shipping Goods Woods
