Examining and Responding to the Texts

1. The anthem would be sang by the citizen of the country. It will also be sang on national events,
in school, and companies.
2. The present day equivalent of these pronouns is “You” and this words are used instead of the
present one because it has more intensity and much more extravagant to hear.
3. “its” refer to the land of the Philippines and its resources.
4. It’s not that accurate from the original they are the same in some stanza but different in the
other once.
5. For me it would be second stanza for it portrays on how the heroes of our country protected
there homeland without fear and regrets from people who want to invade it and make it there
own without the permission and will from its country men.
6. I like the original version for I have been singing since I was a child and I also love it because it is
spoken in the language of my homeland.
7. For me again it would be the second stanza for it tells how resilient Filipinos are that if they get
trampled upon they won’t be intimidated and fight for what is truly right.
